There’s so much to see in the city, and a great deal more in its beautiful surroundings, so extend your stay, and Love York for longer. Things are a little different at the moment, with measures in place for you to enjoy York safely. Pre-booking is a must at many attractions and venues. Dog & Bone Vintage York's one stop Vintage, Retro, Fashion and lifestyle paradise, located by The Coppergate Centre, at 28 Castlegate.
Nic fell in love with wearing vintage during his university days in the early 2000s, and buying and selling not only became a passion, but a necessity to help fund that lifestyle itself. It was in 2011 when he setup a market stall in Brighton, on a windy racecourse in order to sell all the clothing he'd purchased over the years, in the midst of the recession. From then, grew what was to be called Dog & Bone Vintage - a name derived from Nic's surname, Barker, trading online and referencing the rag & bone trade.
28
From online, to market stalls, the first clothing shop on Gillygate was born in 2013, and expanded to the store it is today in 2015, stocking a huge range of vintage fashion sourced from across Europe & America for guys and girls. The extensive hand picked selection of vintage clothing features on trend, branded and classic items from the 50s through to the 90s & early 00s. Dog & Bone Vintage are also home to selected lifestyle & apothecary products. Instagram: @dogandbonevintage
