Vittorio Ferorelli

I was born in Puglia, Italy, in 1971. I left it when I was fifteen years old, but I carry with me its colors, its scents, its sea. Its lights and its shadows. I moved to Emilia in the Eighties. Classical studies during High School in Modena. University in Bologna. Graduation thesis on the journalists-writers of the Giro d’Italia: Campanile, Buzzati, Gatto, Ortese, Pratolini, Vergani... In 1997 I began to collaborate with “IBC”, the review of the Institute for the Cultural Heritage of the Region Emilia-Romagna, of which now I am editor-in-chief. In the meantime I became a free lance journalist. After the precious experience derived from editing others’ texts, for a while now I’m trying out writing on my own. I attended a workshop, the training ground of the contests, and now here I am. I believe that the acts of reading and writing something worthwhile is a form of resistance. At any time, at any latitude.
