Optimizing a post is very important in driving organic traffic from search engines like Google, Bing, and Yandex. In my early days of blogging, I used to only focus on creating good content. But, within no time I have realized that it is essential to develop search engine friendly, i.e., SEO friendly content. In other words, it’s straightforward, when you write a blog post you write it for humans to read. Whereas optimized content is nothing but writing for both humans and search engines at the same time with some targeted keywords and description. That is nothing but guiding search engines to crawl your content with the help of a set of keywords and a proper description of the topic. This is called SEO friendly content or SEO optimized content. So, here are few things to keep in mind when you want to optimize your content for search engines.

Post meta description is nothing but the summary of your blog post or page which is 156 characters in length that appear in the search results.
