RankBrain, first of all, what is Rankbrain? And how is it a ranking factor according to Google? Well, Rankbrain is a Google algorithm that is used for search engine rankings. This RankBrain was introduced by Google last year, and it is going to be more refined and sharp in this year 2018. So, how does it work? Let us assume that you are searching for a term called "screenwriting." Results popped up, and you have clicked on the very first result. After going through the blog post or the webpage, you thought that the content was awful. So, within no time no have logged out of the webpage and came back to your search again. Here, Google records the time you have stayed on that particular site (apparently you didn't wait for too long). Here Google calculates the time spent on the site it is known as Dwell time. RankBrain works on two factors first one is dwelling time and the second is CTR, i.e., Click through rate. Click through rate is nothing but the number of people clicked on the result. Some studies on Searchmetrics stated that the average time spent on top ten google pages is around 3 minutes and ten seconds. So, always write well-researched and well rounded, and unique content. But now a days, Google bots are much more smart. If you stuff your content, title tags and meta descriptions with keywords with lame content then you are not going to rank well on Google. Take it granted. Always remember, Google's job is to give best results possible. Best in the sense the best. So, Always write unique content with indepth content with atlest 1000-1500 words in lenghth. Make is visually beautiful. Use infografics, high resolution images ofcourse which are optimised with Alt tags and compressed as well.
