In order to make time spent at the spa even more pleasant, there are a few house rules we would like to share with you.

Making an appointment: Treatments can be booked, in advance, at the time of making your hotel reservation or any time prior to arrival. Of course treatments can be booked during your stay, subject to availability. All treatments will be included on your bill for payment prior to departure. We welcome outside guests, please contact main reception to make an appointment.

What to wear: We recommend that you wear the bathrobe and slippers provided in your room. Outside guests will be provided with a robe and slippers to change into. All body massages can be performed more easily without clothing. However underwear, bikini or trunks can be worn if preferred.

Areas of the body not being treated will be covered with a towel; we can provide paper panties (recommended for all-over massages).

Arrival: Hotel clients -Please arrive at spa reception in your bathrobe and slippers 15 minutes prior to appointment for your consultation and a choice of organic herbal tea.

Non hotel clients-Please arrive at spa reception 20 minutes prior to your appointment to allow time for changing into a robe and slippers (provided by the hotel), consultation and a choice of organic herbal tea.

Late arrival: If late for your appointment, we may have to shorten the length of the treatment. As a rule, treatments must finish punctually so that subsequent treatments can start on time.

Cancellations: Treatments may be cancelled at spa reception or main reception up to 24 hours in advance. Otherwise the following charges apply: Cancelled 24 to 12 hours - 30% of the full price Cancelled 12 to 6 hours – 50% of the full price.

Cancelled less than 6 hours – 80% of the full pr.ice No show – 100% of the full price.

Unexpected things do happen and on some occasions you may need to change your appointment. Please advise the spa or main reception as soon as possible and we will try to re-arrange a convenient, alternative time.

How to prepare for your treatment: Please do not drink any alcohol, smoke or eat for at least 20 minutes prior to arrival. This will help to maximise the detoxifying effect of your treatments.

Remove any items of jewellery. Remove makeup for facial treatments.

For the enjoyment of all our guests: Mobile telephones, tobacco products and alcoholic drinks are not permitted in the spa area.

Shower before using the pool, sauna or steam room.

Towels are provided to sit or lie on when in the sauna or steam room.

Consultation: Take the opportunity to be advised by the spa staff for your own personalised treatment menu.

Medical conditions: If you have any medical condition or concerns, please mention it when making your appointment or inform the therapist before treatment commences. Certain treatments may not be suitable for health reasons.

The hotel is not responsible for any post treatment reaction or illness due to medical conditions that have not been recorded prior to the treatment taking place.

Pregnancy: You can also enjoy beauty and wellness treatments during this very special time. The spa staff will be happy to advise you on suitable treatments.

Special requests: We want you to feel completely relaxed and at ease. Please tell your therapist what you would like, if the room temperature is right, if the pressure of your massage is too firm or too light or you if would like different background music. All aspects of the treatment can be adapted to your personal taste in order to make it an unforgettable experience.

Skincare products: Take a souvenir of your experience home with you. We use numerous products made by our partner Neal’s Yard Remedies that will also enable you to enjoy hours of relaxation at home too. The spa staff will be happy to offer advice and recommendations.
