01
ca•lle•je•ro (ADJ.): A PERSON OF THE STREETS
concept The vivacious street art and mouth-watering street foods of Peru are both beautiful and cultural staples. Callejero’s plan is derived from an avenuestreet relationship. The “avenue” defines the main circulation path to the food carts. Smaller “streets” break off from the avenue to group seating.

GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE, CALIFORNIA A CONCEPTUAL MODULAR HOTEL SUITE AIMED TOWARDS REFORM OF THE OIL INDUSTRY’S UNSUSTAINABLE OPERATIONS
02
concept In order to extract and process oil and natural gas, the oil industry has located 860 unsightly oil rigs offshore worldwide. Not only are the industry’s unsustainable practices destroying natural habitats, they disrupt the natural beauty of the ocean. Adapting and reusing Reflex Marine’s FrogXT crane transportation device to transfer oil rig crew workers to a habitable hotel suite sends a message for reform to the oil industry’s unsustainable operations. Cocoon Hotel Suite - Exterior View ►
“Cocoon” - Right Section Contrasting the exterior hard shell, the soft Lycra fabric interior beckons visitors to push and pull it, emphasizing their impact on our environment.
“Cocoon” - Left Section This cocoon is representative of an artifical habitat for the hotel’s clients.
Floor Plan - Standard
The hotel suite consists of three shells fitted together to form the bathing, living/dining, and sleeping rooms. A separate ADA accessible bath plan was created for more flexibility in the suite’s modularity.
