MADE IN ENGLAND | SINCE 1879

140th ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION 140 years have passed since Charles Jones and Sir James Crockett joined forces to create what is now regarded as one of the finest shoemakers in the world - Crockett & Jones. The story of a shoemaker (Jones) and a businessman (Crockett) unfolded, resulting in an incredibly successful shoe manufacturing ‘firm’ that has remained in the careful hands of a Jones ever since. In honour of our heritage and shoemaking finesse the 140th COLLECTION breaks away from the norm and takes inspiration from our extensive archives. For development to begin, we needed a new wooden form on which to produce the collection…. Specially developed for the collection, Last 140 features a hollowed out neck, narrow waist, soft outside wall and an elegantly English round toe profile. After months of model making, sampling and test fitting a form fit for the collection was born.

Weighing over 50 carats, this exquisite gem, gleaned from the mines of India, originally belonged to the extraordinary collection of jewels owned by the late H.H. Begum Sultan Mohamed Shah Aga Khan. After acquiring this exceptional Type IIa diamond, Cellini re-cut and polished the stone twelve times in pursuit of the perfect gem. This sacrifice of time, effort and patience on the part of Cellini’s gemologists and cutters ensures world-class jewels of a celestial quality. INDULGE YOUR PASSION

A

mong the world’s leading independent jewelers for more than 40 years, Cellini is renowned for its unparalleled selection, impeccable quality and gracious service. After opening its chic, new Manhattan flagship last year, Cellini continues to burnish its reputation as the place to see the newest and rarest watches from the world’s best watch makers. “We showcase more than 30 brands in one place to create an immersive experience where you can explore and discover an unprecedented range of watches. It’s an experience that collectors simply cannot get anywhere else,” says Leon Adams, Cellini’s founder and president.

DEEP ROOTS

This stunning necklace and earrings set features Burmese rubies framed with pear-shaped and marquise-cut diamonds, set in platinum and 18-karat gold.

Adams has always been passionate about haute horlogerie. In 1977, it led him to open his first showroom in the Waldorf-Astoria hotel, where his collection of hard-to-find timepieces struck a chord with a growing group of American collectors, who were rediscovering the art of mechanical watchmaking. As Cellini’s reputation grew through the years, so too did the scope of its collection, which featured historic maisons such as Girard-Perregaux, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Vacheron Constantin. They were joined by a cast of up-and-coming watchmakers. In fact, before they were horological celebrities, many of

today’s most-recognizable brands got their start in America at Cellini, including: A. Lange & Söhne, De Bethune, Franck Muller, Greubel Forsey, Laurent Ferrier and Richard Mille. Even now, when digital media makes it easy to discover new watch companies, Cellini is one of the only places where you can not only see those watches, but also feel them on your wrist. A veteran of countless watch fairs in Basel and Geneva, Adams has seen trends come and go, deepening his perspective and sharpening his ability to quickly separate the timely from the timeless. That keen eye, fueled by his genuine excitement for watches, is why collectors trust Cellini. “We’re constantly looking for new and innovative watchmakers, but we’re extremely selective about who we represent,” Adams explains. “Finding a brand that produces unique watches isn’t enough. The watches — and the watch company — must be built to last. Quality is foremost in everything we do at Cellini.” Today, Cellini covers the horological spectrum with a phenomenal collection that appeals to all types of enthusiasts. Budding aficionados in search of their first fine timepiece will appreciate the opportunity to compare so many different brands. Meanwhile, savvy collectors will prize the unmatched selection of rare watches on display. “The depth of our collection means you can find what you want, when you want it. That selection is what sets us apart and the reason people keep coming back.” Adams says. But selection is far from the only reason connoisseurs opt for Cellini. Another is the knowledgeable staff, who are dedicated to providing impeccable service before, during and after a purchase. Cellini’s watch specialists share their clients’ horological passion, and they draw on that experience to help each watch lover find the perfect fit. “Buying a watch is easy. Buying the right watch takes time. For us, the greatest satisfaction is helping someone find a watch that they never want to take off their wrist,” Adams says.

ELEGANCE EXEMPLIFIED Beyond horology, Cellini is also home to a world-class collection of jewelry that ranges from custom showpieces to timeless classics. Naturally, diamonds play a starring role in Cellini’s showcases, where they can be found in a gleaming assortment of shapes, sizes and colors, including an extremely rare, radiant-cut chartreuse diamond. Diamonds are joined by a multitude of vibrant gemstones and lustrous pearls — gathered from sources around the world — that are used to create countless shimmering works of art. A gemologist’s dream, the jewelry highlights some of the rarest gems on Earth, from Burmese rubies and Kashmir sapphires to alexandrite, an extraordinary gem whose color changes in natural light. The settings used to show off these natural wonders are equally exquisite and range from timeless designs to contemporary styles. Alongside Cellini’s signature creations are exceptional pieces crafted by some of the world’s top jewelry designers. There’s something to satisfy every taste, from the Old-World craftsmanship of Carrera y Carrera, Masriera and Wellendorff, to the modern artistry of Pippo Perez, Sutra and Sara Weinstock. Whether you seek understated, overwhelming, or something in between, the extraordinary scope of Cellini’s collection opens up a world of possibilities. Irresistible jewels, sophisticated horology, dedicated staff and an inviting new venue — it’s no wonder that after more than 40 years, Cellini continues to be one of the most respected and successful boutiques of its kind. ¨ Greubel Forsey’s GMT Quadruple Tourbillon displays three time zones along with a universal time function. This exceptional timepiece is distinguished by its three-dimensional architecture created with extreme attention to fine craftsmanship.

With a new location in the heart of New York City, Cellini continues to build on its reputation by offering an unparalleled collection of fine jewelry and the world’s best timepieces.

Cellini’s Manhattan flagship is conveniently located at 430 Park Avenue on the corner of 56th Street.

“ invented and made it” “I Innovative and revolutionary horological creator, François-Paul Journe has inspired a generation of contemporary watchmakers with the originality of his creations, his quest for precision, his timeless and immediately recognizable style, and his respect for horological ethics and traditions. In his Geneva manufacture, at the crossroad of Arts and Haute Horology, he honors artisanal work in producing his watches in small series, with exceptional precision and extensive craftsmanship, creating only the most exceptional and fine timepieces, with a subtle balance between tradition and new technologies. Their 18K rose Gold movements make perfect sense of the label ‘Invenit and Fecit’, Latin for invented and made, certifying an in-house caliber entirely conceived and assembled in the Geneva ateliers in which the watchmakers assemble their watch one by one. Known for his creativity, François-Paul Journe expresses his feeling for innovation and outstanding craftsmanship through major timepieces such as the Chronomètre à Résonance, the Tourbillon Souverain and the Chronomètre Optimum as well as the Répétition Souveraine or

the Quantième Perpétuel, all of which have granted him the highest horological Awards around the world. The year 2019 saw vibrant upgrades to the F.P.Journe lineSport collection, each with striking dials. A collection synonymous with sport and innovation with case sizes of 44 mm, in a variety of lightweight metals such as Titanium, with an Aluminum movement. And more recently, luxurious materials such as 18K 6N Gold and Platinum, with a rose Gold movement. At the exclusive F.P.Journe New York Boutique, the Art of Haute Horology is elegantly declined through a bespoke sense of welcome and visitors can expect only the highest-quality service and seasoned expertise. Crossing the threshold of this magic universe means rediscovering the exclusive world of a limited production combined with the F.P.Journe horological passion and know-how. The F.P.Journe New York Boutique is also the favourite spot for collectors to share their love of fine watchmaking with other watch aficionados.

THE SS20 LOAFER COLLECTION The loafer has grown with rapid ascent throughout the 20th century, where it now sits proudly alongside our best-selling Oxfords. For Spring Summer 2020, Crockett & Jones bolsters its already comprehensive Loafer Collection by introducing four further renditions in multiple colour and material options.

Richmond in Snuff Suede | Tan Burnished Calf & Stone Canvas | Tan Wax Calf

The British adopted this slip-on style after the Second World War, the era that arguably gave way to cross-over fashion paving the way for such a style to become cemented in modern day menswear folklore. Originating in Norway from American design roots, the early Penny’s will forever be the foundation of a footwear category that now makes up a large percentage of any English shoemaker’s production.

Kensington in Tan Woven Calf

Dressed up or dressed down, a loafer is the most versatile of all styles in our collection. They are comfortable, durable, easy to live with, and if made on a Crockett & Jones last, fit like a glove. Whether they are lined or unlined, shod in leather or rubber, or made from Calf, Grain, Suede and now Nubuck, the Crockett & Jones Loafer Collection has just become one of the finest in the industry. For over 100 years, The Plaza has been the New York hotel to see and be seen. Kings, presidents, and stars of stage and screen have all gathered and stayed at The Plaza. The most lavish social affairs, as well as classic Hollywood films have all used the legendary hotel as their setting. Ideally situated on Fifth Avenue, The Plaza’s prestigious address continues to define elegance with unmatched service and an ever-evolving modern sensibility.

Dear Guest of The Plaza, On September 3, 1609, Henry Hudson sailed into one the greatest natural harbors on either side of the Atlantic Ocean. On behalf of the East India Company, he established New Amsterdam, as a trading outpost. Half a century later, New Amsterdam became New York City and began to evolve into what it has become today: The most extraordinary city in the world! Capital of commerce, culture and sophistication. Over the decades and centuries, New York has had its triumphs and trials. Each triumph has brought it to new heights and each trial has given it new strength. Through it all, in good times and in bad times the City has had its arms open to an endless flow of visitors from all corners of the world. Millions upon millions, they come attracted by the mystique, the energy, the opportunity, the pleasure, the excitement, the glamour and the beauty that New York City radiates with its every breath. Some stay for days others for lifetimes and many return, time and again. We are thrilled to welcome you, too, to New York and honored to have you as our guest at The Plaza, the most famous hotel in the world! From our location in the heart of it all, we invite you to explore our neighborhoods, landmarks, parks, shops, restaurants, museums, culture and nightlife. My colleagues and I are here to serve you and to ensure that your stay with us is memorable. Please call on us for anything that you might need. We wish you a wonderful stay! Sincerely,

New York has been known as the global hub for cosmetic dentistry for the international community since the emergence of smile makeovers. Between 60,000 to 80,000 patients travel to New York and other American Cities for advanced dental treatment from other countries annually. Most of the patients are from the Middle East and South America. Dr. Lee Gause is going against the tradewinds to bring amazing dental services to people in far away places, rather than forcing patients to travel to far away continents for care. Although he is 90% in New York at his posh dental practice Smile Design Manhattan recent demand in places as far as Kazakstan, or Dubai have caused Dr. Gause to take his dental team and expertise “on the road.” Although initially, it may not seem worth it to take a 20 hour flight to see patients halfway across the globe, the extreme need for beautiful and healthy smiles and scarcity of advanced cosmetic dental service globally has both Dr. Gause and his international patients smiling.
