Luxury Swiss watch manufacturer Ulysse Nardin, the leader in timepiece invention and innovation, opened its second mono-brand boutique in the United States at the Aventura Mall just over a year ago. The 775 square-foot boutique features a collection of over 100 of the company’s finest timepieces, including several models from the Limited Edition Boutique line. The Limited Edition Boutique line includes the Blue Toro, the Boutique Freak Diavolo, and Blue Executive Dual Time. The Blue Toro is a limited edition chronometer that has a self-winding perpetual calendar that is conscious of leap years, so it doesn’t have to be reset. The Freak Diavolo Platinum is specifically made for the Miami watch enthusiast inscribed with the name of the city, “Miami”, and is limited to 10 pieces. The Blue Executive Dual Time is comprised of a patented Dual Time system where the time instantly adjusts to a different time zone. The Stranger
Watch aficionados can view the innovative Stranger watch, the world’s first music box watch that play’s Frank Sinatra’s tune “Strangers in the Night”. A prominent collector himself, Safdie started out in his family’s business of fine art and later drifted into the field of watch collection. He became a passionate watch collector, but soon found himself most fascinated by Patek Philippe and began concentrating his collection entirely on this prestigious brand. Over the past 30 years, he has built one of the largest collections of Patek Philippe watches, both vintage and new. His vision to share his passion and collection with other watch lovers around the world thus resulted in the opening of Madison Fine Time, housed appropriately in a former art gallery on 61st and Madison in New York City.
