Celebrates its 7th Anniversary The 2013 Holiday Season marks the 7th anniversary of the Carmen Sol New York New York stores, the leading boutique chain in the Dominican Republic. Was early 2006 when the first Carmen Sol New York New York store opened its doors in Playa Bavaro. Since then the company has experienced an impressive growth becoming today the leading fashion retailer on the island. “We always loved vacationing in this beautiful country. – said Carmen Sol New York Espejo and Sebastiano Di Bari, the co-founders of the retail chain - The first time we traveled to Casa de Campo back in 2001, we immediately felt at home due to the beautiful surroundings, but we never thought being New Yorkers, that this country one day would become our primary place of business. We have done retail for over 20 years in New York and New Jersey, but here in the Dominican Republic it feels extra special, in particular in Casa de Campo”. The retail concept Carmen Sol New York New York is a multi-brand specialty boutique that offers a “one stop shopping experience” for womenswear and accessories. The stores have a casual yet chic atmosphere where brand-loving customers can shop amongst several international designers, which are carried on an exclusive basis: from sexy Roberto Cavalli and Herve Leger dresses, colorful Missoni prints, to beautiful Tory Burch ballet flats and Michael Kors accessories. The company opened it first store at the Marina of Casa de Campo at the end of 2008 and then expanded in 2010 with 2 additional locations at the Casa de Campo Hotel and the Playa Minitas.
