Living on St. Barthélemy for the last 28 years, Kay Quattrocchi is an artist passionate about astrophysics and the link between consciousness and the universe. She likes to stage: our multidimensions (at CERN, the European Council for Nuclear Research, they count 11 dimensions), bosons, neutrinos, the world of particles, black holes, antimatter, dark matter or Planck’s Wall... it’s her artistic world. Her greatest achievement is a patent, «the Wall of Light», exhibited in front of the Collectivity of St. Barthélemy since 2016. Her patent includes an invention that has never been seen before: works of art that light up in swimming pools, in the partitions between two rooms, on the oor, on the ceiling, on stairs, etc.

Undeniably a part of fashion and art history, each featured piece is infused with a sense of nostalgic charm. This winter, Space Gallery St Barth eelebrates ten years as the gallery of reference in St Barth and an art advocate on island and abroad, and will launch the season in its newly renovated boutique gallery in the Carre D'Or, nestled in the bustling heart of Gustavia. An exhibition with a curated selection from the archives of these newly rediscovered and never before exhibited images - many of which were captured on the island of St Barth is scheduled to take place in late January 2022. All pieces are all part of a very small limited series of just seven editions numbered and signed by the artist. Additionally, a limited edition fine art book (the artist's sixteenth such publication - but whose counting?!) - will be released to accompany the collection.
