The project Concept Design was produced in cooperation between: International architectural company Chapman Taylor; International traffic and parking design company ETC; International lighting design company SCOTT Beleuchtung; and Ukrainian company Archpassage Ukraine LLC The cultural and health improvement complex with retail and office premises, food service enterprises, parking, recreation zone, and boat wharf. Earlier, a project was done on the site, with construction works started and foundations almost completed, which sets forth a series of conditions for the new Concept Design. First of all, they refer to preservation of the building contour, column grid, type of the main bearing structures of the semi-circular part in the rear of the site, levels and dimensions of the underground dubbing road in the parking, as well as preserving the points of vehicle entry and exit. The mall contains shopping units of various area and cafeterias, and also it is planned to locate anchor tenants generating footfall in key points of the mall. In the retail part on level 2, the electronics store located in the northern part of the mall, is one of the main anchors. Shopping centre level 3 is planned as retail and entertainment, with a cinema for 11 screens, children’s and adult entertainment zones, food courts, restaurants, bowling, and a multifunctional events area. Working as a member of a team of architects through collaboration with international offices and local engineering firms my area of responsibilities also included developing 3D model of the building’s exterior and interior.

The building’s main street facade is characterised by structures that reflects both the branding of the shopping centre and its approximity to the river. They impart distinctive appearance to the long stretch of the curved mall’s shape along the street.
The Concept Design was produced for interior solutions of the shopping centre featuring attributes associated with water activities, boating, fishing and river nature.

SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE KYIV / UKRAINE
FAMILY HOUSE 2010 Total area 590 sq.m This project of a contemporary house, located on a small lot in a dense residential area, was designed for single family of four. The site is on a steep slope of a hill facing north-west. These factors set the overall indoor space to be oriented towards backyard offering great views of the city. Large floor-to-ceiling glass panes dissolve the boundaries between inside and outside, extending the floor living space into the terrace overlooking vast city panorama. The top glass ribbon bent over the corner is intended to open inner space to the light of the low winter sun. For the same reason of catching the sun light the pool was turned 90 degrees and cantilevered over the slope, thus making water activities more pleasant avoiding the shadow of the house as much as possible
