AUTHORS: Katliarskaya Anastasiya, Katliarski Ilya; MENTORSHIP: George Zaborski, Natalia Nemkova, Alexander Khadziakov; PROJECT LOCATION: The Shalbatana valley; Mars; PROJECTING YEAR: December 2017 - June 2018; Humanity stands on the threshold of the greatest events. We already live in a future that seemed impossible half a century ago. In order to keep up with the modern rapidly developing world, we need to set ambitious goals. Today, one of the major human goals is colonization of other planets in the solar system. The most possible in the near future is the organization of the colony on the planet Mars. This is primarily a matter of the architecture. Unlike many projects of cities on Mars, we suggest not to go under the thickness of the ground for protection but remain protected on the surface, creating a city in the riverbed of the ancient river.

The main protective dome overlaps the river bed and consists of layers of a carbon nano-tube support structure. And the second is partly filled with ice structure panels and with Martian soil. Water has high radiation protection characteristics, but the main thing is that water is transparent, it lets in natural light. Secondary domes provide protection around each skyscraper. They also consist of a carbon nano-tube framework filled with ice nano-structure. Skyscrapers support the domes and include the necessary functions for the city. The slopes of the gorge are terraced. Terraces are used as cultivated areas. The space inside the steps of the terraces is also used for city purposes.

Full primarily dome is built, connections inside and outside the dome. Second skyscraper is built, communications between skyscrapers. Starting the process nearby. Primarily dome is built above the working skyscraper Inflating the structure frame with cells – construction of skyscraper, agricultural work on terraces, construction of the primarily dome. Cleaning of the soil inside the dome from radiation, terracing the landscape. Printing of secondary dome. Arrivals of spaceships working on atomic energy, now this atomic energy is used for future colony. Construction of plants for robots production, materials processing.

Outside the dome, skyscrapers are a repository of protective robots carrying panels with the ground. During a solar flare, these robots cover the primary dome cells filled with ice. Electromagnetic transmission lines (transport) are drawn between the skyscrapers. During a solar flare, maximum energy is sent here to create an electromagnetic field, to protect against alpha and beta particles.

Resources gathering Skyscrapers descend into the ground for mining, extracting water from an ice-carrying layer. Part of it is splitting into oxygen, which is necessary for humans and hydrogen for fuel and polyethylene.

SKYSCRAPER CONSTRUCTION Polyethylene bubbles are inflating, robots-printers print along their contours and intersections bearing ribs from carbon and basalt. These ribs also provide infrastructure: sewage, water supply, electricity, etc. When cells join, they form a straight intersection(walls).

AUTHORS: Katliarskaya Anastasiya, Katliarski Ilya; PROJECT TEAM: Krokhin Andrey, Slava Khadziakov, George Zaborski - consultant; PROJECT LOCATION: Belarus, Minsk, Oktyabrskaya street; PROJECTING/PROMOTING YEAR: August - December 2016; COMPLETION YEAR: June - July 2017; The “Ideal public space” is a project developed by a team of young architects. It is concerning modern and friendly city environment. The project presumes building and installation of open wooden constructions allowing citizens and tourists to have some rest on city streets, in parks, leisure places, etc. It is believed that skyscrapers destroy the environment around them. We intended to understand what an ideal skyscraper is and to demonstrate this in the installation. The Skyscraper is almost a city that should provide itself, without destroying anything (environment, ecology, etc.). So we created the installation an “Ideal skyscraper”, which combines an open space for citizens, a closed ecosystem and renewable energy sources. The object is built for the urban art festival «Vulica Brazil». Funding was received by winning 2 nominations in the social projects competition «Social Weekend» and so-called hackathon. The “Skyscraper” is constructed by students-architects, volunteers and other interested persons. Many of them are regular users now.

FUNCTION SCHEMES The size of construction is 6x6.6m in plan and 6.3m high. The structure is created by 66 wooden modules 70x70x200cm each and a wooden red base frame (timber 10x10cm) on the first floor.

Rainwater is collecting for drip irritation (for crops growing in the urban mini-garden and the green-wall)

Bar zone with a huge bar table and a greenhouse with edible plants inside (tomatoes and strawberry)

Bicycle electric generator

Rubbish bin

Zone for work and rest with sits

Open gallery zone, where everybody can display his drawings

Stage, where a master-class or a movie-evening can be organized

Energy facilities such as phone recharging, lightning and wi-fi are available due to installed two solar panels.

AUTHORS/TUTORS: Katliarskaya Anastasiya, Katliarski Ilya; CONSTRUCTION WORKSHOP «PLATFORMIX» PROJECT TEAM: Artem Klimza, Veronika Yezepchik, Maxim Kvartalny, Artem Podgol, Polina Glavatskikh, Diego Ibez Lahoz PROJECT LOCATION: Belarus, Chereya village; PROJECTING YEAR: May 2018;

As city dwellers, we not always have the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty. When we are able to do it we are limited by some borders. Workshop «PLATFORMIX» has to find the solution on how we can eliminate borders.

Under our supervision participants made a research of the rural area where locals used to get into the water to swim during the summer; and which is a part of the island where once a year a festival of classical music is held. Students designed a concept for a shore and constructed a swimming platform as its extension. After that, professional carpenters built the shore according to the proposal. Eventually, locals received a fascinating shore complex with a well-designed beach and an integrated swimming platform. The project result, surprisingly for an architectural school workshop, is still in use.

GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP WEEK ARCHITECTS: Katliarskaya Anastasiya, Katliarski Ilya; ENGINEER: Khadziakov Viachaslau; CLIENT: IMAGURU co-working, start-up hub; PROJECT LOCATION: Minsk, Belarus, Belexpo centre; PROJECTING YEAR: August-October 2018; AWARD The conference is on the list of top 5 GEW exhibitions around the world. Fortunately we had an opportunity to design «GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP WEEK» (GEW) exhibitionconference in Minsk 2018. Together with organizers we decided to plan it like a loop. Though the centre element is a circle of start-ups, a visual attraction resembling a logo of the event, under which the start-ups exhibition was held.

STUDIO: Binderman architects; AUTHORS: Eran Binderman, Katliarski Anastasiya, Maxim Shinkar PROJECTING/PROMOTING YEAR: August 2019; RESPONSIBILITIES: architect, team member, participating in all stages from first sketches to technical documentation

The idea behind the set design for The next star Israel was t create an image of a house rather than creating a real on. The oversized scale together with the simplification of details and the flattening of perspectives were the key elements used for this goal. My experience working as an architect in Israel helped me to gain the necessary practical skills of traditional architectural practice. I had to develop projects thought all stages from the first sketches to construction documentation.

DUTCH DESIGN WEEK 2017 AUTHORS: Katliarskaya Anastasiya, Katliarski Ilya; MENTORSHIP: studio Malafor; Gdansk,Poland; PROJECTING YEAR: July 2017; SLOW VODKA Pour slowly, drink quickly - that is a new ritual for drinking vodka, which this piece forces us. We can observe how vodka from the bottle flows slowly through a long tunnel. The form of glass lets us drink vodka quickly and it does not lose its cool temperature. We wanted to break the spell of vodka drinking and give this activity a new spiritual and new aesthetic character.
