Be lured by the lures! To find out how effective spoon lures are, it’s not enough

to take them in a box to the water side. You just have to hook them up to the line and start fishing to give them a chance to prove their worth again… I’d like to offer you Polish spoon lures featuring incredible design, shape, workmanship and finishing created with utmost precision

I have embarked on my fishing adventure as a young boy, when me and my dad would try to catch pikes and perches. After a while, I got interested in more demanding fish species, so I started to search for the legendary salmon trout. I devoted a lot of time to fathom how this species behaves. I marched miles along the river banks and lost an impressive collection of various baits. Owing to my fishing experiences and urged by the desire to create an aesthetic and effective lure, I decided to combine my hobby with professional work, and started to manufacture hand-made lures

Currently, my lures include tailor-made lures for pike, salmon trout, brown trout and catfish fishing as well as custom lures. My lures weigh from 3 to 100 g and are made of copper sheet (yellow or white) and brass. They come with a natural shade, but also may be polished, mellowed or tinned – according to the customers’ needs. The spoon lures feature diverse patterns. Women anglers will also find some special designs for them, such as lures with a flower pattern. Each of the presented models has been thoroughly tested on the Polish rivers and also abroad. They are guaranteed to be extremely efficient and effective. My lures proved to be a great tool many times over, and their unique and tasteful design will meet the expectations of even the most demanding anglers

Salmon trout lures Classic design of salmon trout lure! This lure is fairly strongly bent and made of a thick sheet. Its compacted weight and small size allow it to dive quickly and remain close to the bottom. Its great advantage lies in the fact that it does not stop working when leaving the current. It is perfect for a typical salmon trout fishing method (you throw it near the opposite bank slightly upstream and retrieve the lure with the current while controlling its route). In this method, you don’t pull the line with the reel (only the loose part), the lure must drift freely and naturally on its own.

A unique, exclusive shape! I nicknamed this spoon lure “froggy” for a reason. Its movements resemble a numb, sleepy frog which is T02 spring food for certain Salmonidae fish. The lure works in a way I would describe as lazy and does not whirl; it only does strong swings and shallow dives. That is why it is a perfect solution for rapid rivers with strong current. I can personally recommend it for fishing in troughs close to the shore. It may be done either traditionally or by pulling the lure directly against the current while stopping for a couple of seconds in the most promising spot.

T02 Model

This spoon lure is based on traditional salmon trout lures. The difference is, however, fundamental – classic salmon trout lure is T03 made of a thin metal sheet (up to 1 mm), and to drop it to a sufficient depth you have to use it with a drop shot. Over the years of practice I learned that this method can be really frustrating. That is why I make 2 mm thick salmon trout lures. In my opinion, thanks to their extraordinary shape, they work equally well. The lure dangles from one side to the other and sweeps the water with its tail, and when you reel it in quickly it starts spinning. Because the lure is quite large, it is especially useful in high, muddy waters. This model proved to be particularly effective in February and March in the so called overflows.

It is a very heavy and elongated spoon lure created specifically for the beautiful silver salmon trout. It features great casting qualities T04 and fairly slow work. It gives slight resistance against the water, does not tend to dive quickly and that is why it may be used in forest sections with a large number of underwater obstacles. You can choose practically any bait working technique, since silver trout is a preying fish and it cannot resist anything slender resembling a lesser sand eel or a greater sand eel that comes into its sight.

Since it allows for long distance casting, recently it has also become great bait for sea trout and garfish.

T04 is excellent for pike fishing as well! T04 Model

Salmon trout lures In recent years, fishing for sea trout in the coastal areas of the Baltic Sea has become very popular. Therefore, you can find quite a few new baits dedicated to this fish. Unfortunately, not all of them are up to scratch. The new range of T05 sea lures was created to provide our customers with proven and effective bait straight from the coast.

T05 is available at 15, 18 or 23 g, which with its 85 mm length gives you a very versatile lure with long range, good for any weather conditions. The light one can be used on days with no wind, and the heavier ones when you are faced with big waves and high winds. The elongated shape is to resemble natural feed of the sea trout (lesser sand eel and greater sand eel). In terms of its work, the T05 model is characterized by fine, snake-like movement and the frequency of the spoon swings to the sides depends only on the speed with which you reel in the line. By letting it freely drop on a tense line you will achieve good reflections. Such use often leads to an attack of silver trout…

An idea for a new spoon lure sometimes comes out of the blue, but it may also be a consequence of many years of observations of anglers and their (often surprising) preferences. The latter was the case with the T06 model. I was once fishing on the Parsęta river, and fished out of the water a piece that I would personally choose rather for January trout. Its purpose was betrayed only by a large, rusty hook… Smugly smiling to myself I put the spoon away to the box, and that was the end of it.

Some other time, a friend of mine came to show me a presumably very effective lure. He was given it by an old angler, interestingly also from the area of the Parsęta river. When I saw the small spoon lure, I immediately remembered the other one. My new project was sped up when a gorgeous salmon was caught on a similar size piece in a trout tournament at the end of the season. At first glance, the T06 looks nothing like a classic trout-salmon spoon lure. The same also applies to its work. Relatively small size, oblong shape and slight embossing make it behave inconspicuously in the water, moving gently and lazily, but maybe that does the trick. It is not a typical bait working aggressively, making a lot of “noise” in the water. Rather the opposite, this piece puts fish off their guard through its quiet work. It doubles the probability of an attack as it raises interest in both more active fish, and those drowsier ones. Fishing with the T06 spoon lure, you do not have to focus on classic techniques of working the bait in the river. Its small size and distinctive work may inspire you to find new uses for it and provide you with new experience…

Pike lures Large, heavy spoon. This piece is intended mainly for catfish, however, large pikes will not resist it either. I would recommend rather strong rods (13/4 oz), as this lure’s work is quite intense. The S01 forcefully swings to the sides, and when you work it slowly it does not spin. Thanks to this, it creates a strong hydroacoustic wave – exactly like large prey of pikes, for example bream. With slow reeling of the line, no violent movements of the reel, you will feel pleasant, pulsating work. It should be used in rather deeper waters – 5 m is a minimum for spinning. It is also excellent for trolling in deeper lakes or bays.

Two pieces of the same type but different weight. Light one for shallow waters from 0.5 to 2 m, the heavier one for deeper waters from 2 to 5 m. The light one is great for shore areas, reed beds, shallow overgrown waters; it is easy to maneuver between water smartweed. Practically, it can be called sophisticated jerking with a spoon lure. You can use any technique of bait work, but this piece likes to be jerked vertically with the rod, it then rapidly jumps to the sides and creates interesting reflections.

S02

The heavier spoon lure works best on the drop, so if you like to fish with rubber lures using this method, you will certainly like this spoon. Additionally, it is excellent with underwater slopes, as it dives quite quickly and its work may provoke fish already after the first cast.

S02

I use one iron rule while fishing with a spoon lure. I always work it up to the side of the boat. However, when it is approximately 5 m away from the boat, I gently increase the speed of reeling. Pikes like to attack the lure in the last phase, during this gentle speed increase, as if they are afraid to lose the treat they were following all this time.

This piece was designed specifically for salmon trout, however it is also excellent for pikes. It works particularly well when a pike cannot find good prey and is swarmed with large rubber lures, jerk baits and wobblers by other anglers. Thanks to its interesting reflections even with slow reeling of the line, you can choose any bait working technique. It works best when used near the shore.

S03

S03 The surprisingly good results of the T02 lure inspired me to make it in extra large size. I was so curious how this piece would stir the water with its size and what fish are going to react to it that I did not want to postpone this project. I had no doubt that achieving the results of the original lure would be difficult, but I was sure it was possible! First prototypes were made of thin metal sheet. When I achieved the desired effect, further tests were performed with thicker metal sheet. This was aimed at developing a spoon that would work just as well, suitable for various fishing grounds – from shallow overgrown lakes to deep lagoons and dams.

S04

The work of this bait is rather aggressive and thanks to being strongly bent it kept the distinctive “bounciness” of the T02 model. The S04 is stable even with varied speed of reeling. On the drop it whirls slowly, which you can easily feel on the rod as a steady pulse. This piece is really versatile. Lighter models will be good for spring fishing in overgrown shallow waters, and heavier ones will come in handy during autumn trolling.

Small, light lure – your secret weapon! Intended mainly for catching brown trout. However, it may also be successfully used for pikes preying on fry, perch, chub and ide.

Small trout lures work best if used in early spring, when fish prey on organisms carried by high waters that wash out river banks along with their residents. In such conditions, working the bait in the current is a good solution (as in the description of the T01 model).

It is a reversed P01 model. It is highly effective when worked both downstream and upstream. Both models – P01 and P02, due to their small weight behave differently depending on the conditions. In a small river with low speed of the current they will nicely swing to the sides. In a large river they will inevitably start spinning, which is their additional strength.

It is only 33 mm in length and weights 3 g! It is one of the smallest spoon lures available on the market and the smallest one I make. If an angler specializes in fishing with the so called micro bait, this piece should be a treat. The way it works can be guessed just from its shape – slender, slightly bent – this prevents it from spinning. Thanks to its tiny size and concentrated mass, it is very effective in casting, and its application may be very wide in spite of appearances.

P03

As the lure is small and weighs only 3 g, it may imitate any live organism that lives near the water surface and near the shore. Worked near the surface, it may resemble an insect (horse-fly, grasshopper) that has difficulty with flying away, and to a chub or other fish it becomes an easy catch…

Brown trout hunters fishing in small streams will appreciate this lure mainly in the summer, at low waters. Fish are then very careful and the only alternative to fishing in a trough near the shore is letting the lure go with the current, and then working it in such a way that it does not touch the bottom. The ‘large lure – large fish’ rule is sometimes unwarranted. On the other hand, ‘small lure – surprising results’ is very much true…
