Lice: Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus, Damalina (Bovicola) bovis and Solenopotes capillatus. Horn flies Haematobia irritans. Instructions for use 1.0 litre containers Attach the metering cup to the bottle. Set the dose by turning the top section of the cup to align the correct body weight. When bodyweight is between markings, use the higher setting. Hold the bottle upright and squeeze it to deliver a slight excess of the required dose as indicated by the calibration lines. When the pressure is released, the volume automatically drops to the correct dose. Tilt the bottle and dispense the solution. A stop position is provided to close the system. 2.5 litre backpack The use of a commercially available applicator gun routinely used for anthelmintic pour-on formulations is recommended. Equipment such as that designed specifically for Ivomec Pour-on Cydectin Pour-on or Dectomax Pour-on would be suitable.

Instructions for use of the dispensing cap for the 2.5 litre back pack • Remove the cap from the back pack container and replace with the dispensing cap. Make sure the dispensing cap is tightly screwed in place. Attach the hose of the recommended dosing equipment to the outlet of the dispensing cap. Ensure there are no leaks. • When you have finished treating the animals, remove the dispensing cap and replace the original cap. Place the dispensing cap in the outer carton. • Keep the container upright when removing or fitting caps. Mode of Action Compounds of this class bind selectively and with high affinity to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels which occur in invertebrate nerve and muscle cells. This leads to an increase in the permeability of the cell membrane to chloride ions with hyperpolarisation of the nerve or muscle cell resulting in paralysis and death of the parasite. Compounds of this class may also interact with other ligand-gated chloride channels such as those gated by the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA).
