subject. “The [government] agencies have expressed their concerns… Nevertheless, we can still work
out the concerns of the Financial Institutions Commissioner’s Office about cryptocurrency and its jurisdiction over the Bitcoin Teller Machines (BTMs) –which are like cryptocurrency ATMs– that are already operating on the island,” said Representative Jesús Manuel Ortiz (Popular Democratic Party) after the first public hearing on the subject.
