The tilt angle for a display is an important part of displays used in public environments. The correct tilt angle reduces unwelcome light reflection from surrounding light sources. Mounting height, viewing distance, height of the viewing public are indicators used to determine the correct viewing height and angle. What does TÜV/GS and vss mean for you All Vogel’s professional products are engineered and designed according the VSS-5 or VSS-3 standard (Vogel’s Safety Standard). On top of the VSS standard most products are also “GS” certified for by TÜV. “GS”certified products for professional use are tested to carry at least 5 time the specified weight. TÜV is an independent certification institute for products and production processes who carry out thorough independent safety tests.

Modular ceiling mounts for small to medium sized displays

CEILING MOUNTS

The Connect-it range for small to medium sized displays includes: Ceiling plates The ceiling plates are part of the modular system which enables you to create your own ceiling mounting solution for flat displays. You can easily attach one of the poles with just 1 screw, which saves installation time.

Step 1 ceiling plate

Poles The poles are the basis of the Connect-it (modular) system. Main features of the poles are: quick and easy installation, large cable management system, stylish design, the pole can easily be cut to length if necessary, easy to customize (23xx Series) and multiple displays can be mounted to one pole (23xx Series).

Interfaces There are three VESA interfaces available: 75x75 / 100x100, 200x100 and 200x200 mm. The main features are: fast, easy and safe installation by just 1 person, horizontal levelling function and tilt function. There is one universal interface available (PFI 3040) which supports non VESA fitments of up to 230x260 mm. It features all the functions mentioned before, but is also adjustable in height and can be used for multiple display mounting.

Modular display interface The modular interface consists of two separate components: an interface bar and a set of two interface display strips. The interface bar is for the horizontal display fitment and the interface display strips are for the vertical fitment. This creates a custom fitment for any display. With these standard components it is also very easy to create multiple display solutions. • I nterface bars The horizontal fitment determines the length of the interface bar and is available in 4 different lengths from 515 to 1175 mm. • I nterface display strips The vertical fitment determines the length of the 2 interface display strips and is available in 6 different lengths from 380 to 1130 mm.

Modular solutions for video walls and extra large displays Large displays and video walls are increasingly being used in education, corporate and public environments to enhance learning and communication. As these solutions become larger and heavier, selecting the right mount is becoming more important. This is why Vogel’s has designed a modular range of XL and video wall mounts. Whether you need to mount single or multiple displays this modular range provides the flexibility you need for almost every situation. The XL wall mount and video wall components are interchangeable creating a virtually unlimited number of possibilities.

XL wall mounts WALL MOUNTS

Vogel’s Professional introduces a new range of modular wall mounts for extra large displays. The modular wall mount is especially designed for 65 inch displays and larger, with a maximum weight of 160 kg. The modular wall mount is set up with an interface wall plate (PFW 58xx) and two interface display strips (PFW 59xx). Vogel’s offers 3 different lengths of interface wall plates; 800, 1050 and 1450 mm and 3 different lengths of interface display strips; 800, 950 and 1450 mm. With this modular concept you can create a mounting solution for almost every extra large display in landscape or portrait position.

Video wall mount

The video wall consists of interface wall plates (PFW 58xx) and one set of interface display strips (PFW 5905) per display. Vogel’s offers 4 different lengths of interface wall plates from 1800 to 3300 mm and one length of interface strips of 500 mm. With the Vogel’s modular concept you can create your own video wall for almost every display. Once the displays are in place, the built in service position makes it possible to easily connect cables to the displays. The service position also allows each individual display to be removed for maintenance or replacement. Even if it concerns the display in the middle of the video wall. By using the modular components of the Vogel’s XL wall mount it is even possible to create a video wall of displays in portrait position.

PFA 9111 Top class video conferencing loudspeaker The PFA 9111 video conferencing loudspeaker is developed in collaboration with a specialised loudspeaker manufacturer. The loudspeaker is equipped with patented technology for unique, 100% in-phase sound. This means that the loudspeaker produces unparalleled, clear (vocal) sounds which makes it feel as if the sound is actually coming from the room itself. Also the sound reaches much further into the room, even at low volumes. In addition to the usual audio input, the built-in digital amplifier has a port for RS232-422-485 communication. As a result, the loudspeaker can be operated remotely in larger installations.

Next generation projector mounts Vogel’s Professional offers a complete new range of projector ceiling mounts. These projector mounts are especially designed for the new generation projectors weighing up to 25 kg. The range includes basic projector ceiling mounts and height adjustable kits with telescopic poles.

Universal projector interface All mounts come with a universal projector interface. This projector interface is equipped with a unique fine tune adjustability for precise alignment of the projection area. Once aligned, the projector stays in position. Additional fixation features are provided to lock the desired position in all directions.

Height adjustable projector ceiling mount kits The height adjustable projector mount kits can be used when the height of the ceiling is not known or when flexibility is required. These mounts come in 3 lengths offering variable height adjustment from 300 to 1350 mm. The CIS® Cable Inlay System over the full length of the pole makes it possible to insert cables after installation. The CIS® offers sufficient space for all cables required and enables you to hide all the cables in a matter of seconds.

Steps

Vogel’s Professional introduces a new range of projector anti theft housings for the new PPC 1000 and PPC 2000 Series projector mounts. The PPA 310 is an anti theft housing for small-medium sized projectors, while the PPA 320 is designed for the bigger sized projectors. Both offer maximum protection to projectors in schools and public environments.

Step 1 ceiling plate

The new projector housings are designed to prevent theft of mounted projectors and fit on our modular PUC 21xx ceiling poles. The new design makes it possible to mount the housing directly to the ceiling. The housings are designed in such a way that servicing the projector is quick and easy. Large openings on the top and bottom of the housing allow easy access to the projector for service and maintenance. Large ventilation openings offer sufficient cooling to prevent the projector from overheating. After installing the projector to the ceiling it can be aligned. After final alignment the housing can be closed with special anti theft screws. Additionally a padlock and/or a bolt-nut can be added for double security.

Short throw projectors are the latest development in projectors. They offer several new advantages, such as no problems with shadow, less blinding light for the presenter and they are easier to install, given that they are wall mounted. Short throw projectors do however require a special mount and Vogel’s has introduced a full range of Short throw projector mounts. Easy projector servicing Looking for a better way to access hard to reach projectors in high meeting rooms or lecture halls? The PPL 1515, 2525, 3535 and 7575 projector ceiling lift systems make it easier than ever to service projectors that are concealed in a false ceiling.
