Herbert Brauer is a core transformative wilderness guide, coach and mentor. To lion fans he is probably best known for his work as wildlife cameraman on The Last Lioness, the true story of a single lioness in western Zambia’s Liuwa Plain called Lady Liuwa. Herbert’s professional focus has shifted from a commitment to wildlife conservation through the media towards the expansion of consciousness as foundation of an authentic harmonious relationship between humanity and nature.
Richard Peirce is an internationally known author, broadcaster and freelance writer. He is a committed wildlife conservationist with a passion for wild creatures and wild places. He is probably best known for his campaigning work for sharks. He was Chairman of the Shark Trust for twelve years and is still a Trustee, and in 1999 founded Richard Peirce Shark Conservation which later morphed into the highly successful Shark Conservation Society which he also chaired. His shark books include ‘Sharks in British Seas’, ‘Sharks off Cornwall & Devon’, ‘UK Great White Shark Enigma’, ‘Nicole’ and ‘Shark Attack Britain’. His other recent wildlife books include ‘The Poachers Moon’, ‘Giant Steps’ and the latest book ‘Cuddle Me, Kill Me’. The latest is arguably the most powerful written examination of South Africa’s captive lion breeding sector with an in-depth investigation into an industry that has grown out of all control. Covering issues lions face from bottle to bullet and beyond.
