So this is my final foreword for Marham Matters. I have been the editor for the past 6 years, and the time has come for me to move on and pass the torch on to another.

I’ve been at RAF Marham as a Civil Servant since the summer of 2003. I’ve seen thousands of people come and go, and sadly lost some forever, seen three different aircraft operate from the Station, two of which now are in museums!

From the amazing experiences to the really difficult days, no two days in the past two decades have been the same. But the one thing that I have valued throughout are the friendships I’ve made and the teams I have worked with. They are the thing I will miss the most as I leave.

In this role I’ve had the opportunity to see more of what the people on this Station are capable of. Many of you are doing extraordinary things, but don’t like to tell people what you are doing. Let them know, let the media team know, and we can encourage more within the Station community to support you and do more amazing things for the Station and the community.
