Viking village on banks of the Suir

WATERFORD has the opportuity to develop “a world-class visitor attraction” around the important Viking site discovered near Carriganore. There could be an accurately reconstructed Viking village in its original setting on the banks of the Suir. It could also be a centre for acacdemic study and play host to an international Viking festival . These are the views of Neil Jackman of Abarta Heritage

who has prepared a plan for Waterford City and County Council on the conservation, protection and potential of the Woodstown site, off the Greenway. The draft plan now has the council’s backing and will soon go for public consultation. It proposes development of “a world-class visitor attraction ... providing a tangible glimpse into what life would have been like in Viking-Age Ireland, with all the sights, smells and tastes of the time.”

The site was discovered in 2003 dring work on the the N25 Waterford city bypass. The route of the road was changed to protect the site which has ben declared a national monument. In the short term, the plan calls for works to turn a section of the Greenway into a timeline of Waterford’s history and the creation of a Viking-themed playground near the access point at Carriganore. Woodstown could become a

leading centre for experiencing Viking life. There has been a welcome for the plan to develop the site. Úna Dunphy of People Before Profit said Woodstown had been acknowledged as the most important Viking site discovered in Europe in the last 100 years. “It all looks all very exciting and PBP Waterford look forward to engaging with the council and the other stakeholders during the consultative process,” she said

We can’t serve you here ... you’re in lockdown

THE proprietor of a restaurant in Tramore has explained why staff turned away some people from Laois, while serving others, when the county was in lockdown. There has been criticism on TripAdvisor of The Esquire restaurant’s policy but the owner and head chef, Paul Horan, who is himself from

Laois, has said his staff were trying to follow Government rules. Mr Horan (72) said a number of people, who were waiting to be shown to their tables, told staff they were from Laois. They were politely informed that they could not be served . Mr Horan explained that a large number of people later

arrived and were shown to their tables, in line with all distancing regulations. They had signed a guest list, but not with a Laois address. “When my staff found out that they were from Laois they were traumatised,” he told the Laois Nationalist newspaper. “They all wear masks but they didn’t want to be here, unsure if it was safe.”

Half of us fear for future of our jobs

A LARGE nunber of people in Waterford are worried about the future of their jobs, a survey shows. The study by the FRS Recruitment company found that 47% of people in the city and county have employment concerns. This is slightly higher than the national average of 46%. The gap was much wider when people were asked about their prospects of securing a new job. Nationally, 66% of those questioned believed they would secure a new job within three months but across Waterford only 47% were confident they could secure a new job so quickly. The survey found that more than three in every 10 employees in Waterford are expecting a wage increase in the next 12 months, with 31% believing they are due a raise. The national average is 51%. The survey also found that nine out of every 10 people in Waterford (90%) would like to work remotely some or all of the time.

A FIANNA Fáil supporter has defended Senator John Cummins against criticism over his attendance at the ‘golfgate’ dinner in Co Galway. The Fine Gael senator lost the party whip for attending the dinner in breach of Covid-19 regulations. He has come in for a lot of criticism on social media, most of it anonymous and some of it very nasty. John Murray, an internet safety consultant from Dungarvan, has called it “a non-stop barrage of criticism”. Mr Murray describes himself as a former secretary of Fianna Fáil’s Waterford Comhairle Dáilcheantair. In a letter to Waterford Today he writes: “John by his own admission made a bad mistake in attending the golf event in Clifden. I am sure he went there in good faith, not realising that the hotel was 30 people over the Covid restrictions limit. He has apologised for being at the event and that should be the end of the matter. “John has worked tirelessly for the people of Waterford, both as a teacher and a councillor. I am sure he will do great work as a senator. “Politics is a tough business and our representatives need to be held to account, but it must be acknowledged that the level of antagonism towards John Cummins and his family, especially on social media, is totally

out of proportion to what actually happened. “I have canvassed for Fianna Fáil against John in the past, but I have to acknowledge that he is a decent and honourable man, who does not need to fall on his sword over this matter.” RESIGN: Mystery surrounds the resignation from Sinn Féin of Waterford councillor Declan Clune. Cllr Clune announced the move in a brief statement. He said: “Please be advised that I have made the difficult decision to resign as a member of Sinn Féin. It is my intention to remain an Independent councillor on Waterford City & County Council for the remainder of this term.” Cllr Clune thanked his Sinn Féin collewgues for their support and wished them well. Sinn Féin’s council group leader, Conor McGuinness, responded with a similarly brief statement. He said: “I note that Declan has tendered his resignation to the party. Declan is a long standing member and has served the party well. On behalf of the Sinn Féin team I wish him well. I welcome Declan’s commitment to work constructively with our councillors and our local TD David Cullinane in the time ahead.” Both the councillor and his former party have declined to comment further.

Gang suspects held in Europol operation WATERFORD was part of an international police operation targetting a gang suspected of dealing in drugs, human trafficking and money laundering. Property was serarched and people questioned here and in Dublin, Cork, Kerry and Belfast. The operation, which was supported by Europol, was carried out by the Garda, the PSNI and law enforcement authorities in Lithuania. Five arrests were made by gardaí and three by the PSNI in the North. The actions were taken under European arrest warrants and were aimed at the activities of

an organised criminal group from Lithuania, suspected to be involved in human trafficking, drug trafficking and associated money laundering. Assistant Commissioner John O’Driscoll, who heads the Organised and Serious Crime unit within An Garda Síochána said: “The operational activity undertaken across three jurisdictions illustrates the potential to tackle suspected criminal activity engaged in by those who are involved in organised crime that has an international dimension.” The operation has been underway since 2018 when a joint investigation team was set up.

Increase in vacant commercial properties

MORE than 14% of commercial properties across Warerford city and county are lying vacant, new figures show. The vacancy rate of 14.5% is higher than the national average (13.5%) and the average for Munster (13.3%). The averarage for Leinster is 12.6%. Connacht has by far the highest rate of vacancies with an average of 17%. The figures, for the second quarter of the year, are from the GeoView Commercial Vacancy Report which provides an analysis of the commercial building stock across Ireland. They show that commercial property vacancies in Waterford have not been greatly affected by Covid-19 problems, rising only slightly, year on year, from 14.1% to 14.5%. Waterford’s highest vacancy rate was in the city (17.6%) and the lowest was in Tramore (14.1%) Only three counties reported a decline in their vacancy rates: Kildare (-0.3pc), Wexford (-0.3pc) and Kilkenny (-0.2pc). Donegal (+0.8pc), Limerick (+0.7pc) reported the highest jumps

WATERFORD is to get extra Expressway buses. The new services, to Dublin and Cork, will start on Sunday, September 6. Bus Éireann will run three additional buses daily to Dublin Airport, leaving Waterford at 2.00am and Dublin Airport at 7.00am. A new service will also start from New Ross at 5.30am and 4.30pm, departing Dublin Airport at 10.00am and 9.00pm, seven days a week. This route will serve New Ross, Waterford, Mullinavat, Ballyhale, Thomastown, Gowran, Royal Oak, Leighlinbridge Cross, Carlow IT, Carlow town, Dublin city and Dublin airport. A new Sunday service to Cork will leave Waterford at 4.00pm and depart from Cork at 7.40pm. It will stop at Waterford’s Parnell Street, Waterford Institute of Technology, Cork Road, Kilmacthomas, Dungarvan, Youghal, Midleton and Cork city. “Expressway services were necessarily reduced in recent

months due to the Covid19 crisis but I am very pleased to announce that we are now able to deliver additional services,” said Eleanor Farrell, Chief Commercial Officer of Bus Éireann. There has been a welcome, meanwhile, fo the reopening of the Limerick to Waterford rail line . Tramore Green Party TD Marc O Cathasaigh said links between Limerick and Waterford cities are critical to achieve balanced regional development and growth in both cities. However, the first train sechduled for the service, the 7.20am from Waterford, was hit by a “mechanical fault” and passengers had to transfer to the bus. Irish Rail apologised for the problem “just prior to departure”. The LimerickWaterford service consists of a morning and evening service each way, serving stations in Carrick-on-Suir, Clonmel, Cahir and Tipperary, changing trains at Limerick Junction.

LOCAL authorities should have the power to decide whether festivals and other events can go ahead during the Covid-19 crisis, a councillor has said. Councillor Eamon Quinlan was speaking after the collapse of WaterFood 2020, a plan to run four local festivals in conjunction. Spraoi and the Waterford Harvest Festival were first to abandon their programmes, announcing that Covid restrictions made staging their events impossible. Tramore’s inaugural Vitamin Sea Festival was next to throw in the towel and, finally, the West Waterford Autumn Festival of Food also bit the dust. Cllr Quinlan called on the Government to empower councils to make the decisions on local events and shows. He said the Government had been applying guidelines

. nationally which were designed for the most heavily populated areas, such as inner city Dublin. This, he claimed, had led to the restriction on numbers of 50 for indoor shows and 15 for outdoor shows. “There are safe and unsafe events during this Covid era and we here in Waterford are best placed to assess these on a case by case basis,” said the Fianna Fáil councillor.. “Many shows and events over recent weeks had been working with us to scale down their offerings and we were confident that they could deliver Covid safe productions. These shows had to be abandoned, not because they were unsafe but because financially and logistically it made no sense to proceed when only 15 people could attend.” Cllr Quinlan said that, in normal times, Waterford

Council works with local groups to deliver more than 100 festivals, events and shows each year. “We have unrivalled experience with our health and safety officers in delivering safe events,” he said. Following cancellation of the Spraoi and Harvest festivals, Tramore’s Vitamin Sea Festival followed suit and issued a statement, saying: “With current Covid-19 patterns and government restrictions we feel it would be too much of a risk of large crowds gathering.” Organisers promised “a bigger and better festival next year”. West Waterford Festival of Food then announced that “after a lot of thought and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel”. The festival’s organisers urged the public to visit the area and sample the fine food, nevertheless.

Under re-starters orders THE business restart grant has been doubled and Waterford Council is urging local companies to take advantage of the funding. If your business has been hit by the Covid-19 crisis, it will help you get going again and may pay for new health and safety measures you need. €300m has been added to the €250m previously committed.

The funding is available for businesses with a turnover of less than €25m and fewer than 250 employees. The Restart Grant Plus is the equivalent to the commercial rates bill of the business in 2019. The minimum grant is €4,000 and the maximum is €25,000. If your business suffered at least a 25% reduction in turnover between April 1

A pint and a pizza from next door

I

recently went with some friends for a drink and a bite to eat in a small village pub. I don’t think it normally serves food. I’m not sure it even has a kitchen. But it had no trouble complying with the law because the village, like just about every little place in Ireland, has a Chinese takeaway and a takeaway pizza restaurant. This particular village also has a Centra that serves readymeals (including sushi - now there’s posh!) in plastic containers. It was a pleasant evening - a rare event of late - so we sat at a table outside, where the waiter handed us menus for all three establishments. He brought our orders to the takeaways and their staff delivered the food to our table. The price (nothing less than €9, I swear) was added to our final bill from the pub which, I presume, has its own arrangements for paying. Food was being delivered this way to punters inside the pub as well as us outdoor types. I’m not sure if all this was in strict accordance with the letter of the law but it certainly met

the trouble of organising and operating it. Maybe their customers would not be prepared to pay a €9 food surcharge for the pleasure of supping a couple of pints. Or maybe I’m missing something . But it seems to me that, with a little bit of initiative, a good few of the bars now closed would be able to open their doors and enjoy at least a limited trade. I have never really thought of the pub as a place to eat and, before Covid, I would have regarded the idea of booking a table at one as odd. But, I have to admit, it works well and is an idea that might be worth preserving when this crisis is over. I’m not suggesting pubs should keep their entire premises functioning by appointment only. The bar itself and the floor space could operate as usual but it would be nice to be able to reserve a quiet, comfortable table to meet with a few friends or family, even if no food was involved. There are some other lessons that might be learned from this phase of partial restriction. Like nearly all Irish men I have never, until recently, made

Michael Wolsey the spirit of it and I can’t understand why the system isn’t adopted by more of the small pubs that are complaining about being locked down. I know there are a few backof-beyond pubs, like the San José bar in the Guinness ad, that don’t have a food place near them, but many of those that are now shut could easily place their orders with the shop or café up the road, boosting local trade as well as their own business. Any of the so-called wet bars in Dublin could do the same most have a wide variety of menus on their doorsteps. Maybe some pubs think the financial return from this sort of arrangement would not justify

an appointment with a hairdresser, or a barber as I would quaintly say. I have to admit, it works very well. I arrive and there is someone either waiting to cut my hair or ready to do so in a few minutes. It beats the hit-and-miss arrangements which would leave me, with hardly a hair to cut, waiting while someone with more locks than sense got styled in a cross between Jedward and the guys out of The Young Offenders. Booking swimming slots at my local gym also cuts out a lot of hassle and I like the new degree of order that has come to supermarkets where checkout queues are being controlled and most people are paying quickly by card, instead of searching through purses and wallet and counting up loose change. And although I don’t like wearing a mask, I like the idea that people are prepared to wear them, not for their own good but to protect others. In many Asian countries, wearing a mask is a common act of courtesy extended by anyone who has a cold or some such infection. That’s an idea we would do well to copy.

Start Investing in your future today

The future seems a long way off, but the benefits of long term financial planning cannot be overstated; when it comes to investing, time is quite literally money. Thanks to medical science and social advances, life expectancy has been growing steadily longer over the past 50 years. By 2018, the average 40-year old man could expect t to live to 87, while for a woman it increases to age 89. Yet, averages tell only one part of the story. You may be surprised to learn that the UK Office for National Statistics [ONS] tells us one in five [20%] of woman aged 55 today will live to celebrate their 100th birthday. However, there is a downside too. The ageing population is putting increasing pres-

lower and the lifestyle you will be able to enjoy will very likely be affected as a result. This is not surprising when you consider that we can now expect to spend almost a quarter of our lives in retirement. In 2018, according to the Central Statistics Office [CSO], only about 56% of Irish workers had additional pension arrangements other than the normal State pension. This figure fell to 42% for those aged between 25 and 34. This is a significant problem because this age group are the ones who are the most likely to be affected by lower pensions in retirement. The lesson is clear: to enjoy later life without financial pressures impacting your standard of living, you should act now and start a pension today.

His Truth Is Marching On: John Lewis and the Power of Hope by Jon Meacham

©2020 Vincent Hyland/ derrynane.ie Just over a week ago social, print and TV media was awash (forgive the pun) with reports of an extraordinary and spectacular natural phenomenon that saw parts of the Cork coastline lit up in sparkling blue like some 80s or 90s Ibiza nightclub. This is known as bioluminescence. So, what’s it all about? Well some animals that live in the dark are bioluminescent. Say again? Bioluminescence is the production and emission of light by a living organism. It turns out that up to 80% of marine creatures may emit light. From the ocean surface to the seabed, everything from plankton and bacteria to algae, jellyfish, and some species of fish. Why do they do this? For many different reasons including to lure food, attract a mate, avoid predators or just group together. The bioluminescence that was witnessed off the Cork coast last week is also commonly known as sea sparkle. This is caused by single-celled Mesokaryotes, dinoflagellate, a type of plankton. Bioluminescence occurs in plankton when chemical reactions within them produce light in response to a threat or to the water being disturbed. Dinoflagellate bioluminescence flashes cause a startle response in their predators which results in a decrease in the number of dinoflagellates consumed. The disturbance of the water by the paddle of a kayak or sup, the crashing of the waves on the shore, or the movement of people swimming and wading in the water causes an increased flash response from the plankton enhancing the sparkling light show for those lucky enough to witness it. While not an everyday occurrence, this spectacle happens reasonably regularly off our south-west coast. One of the best locations to experience it is at the wonderful Lough Hyne in Co. Cork, a marine nature reserve and the only saltwater lake in Europe.

This book is about American congressman and civil rights icon John Lewis, who led the first of three Selma marches across the Edmund Pettus Bridge and paid the price when he came under attack by state troopers. Meacham explores Lewis’s personal life and how it was intertwined in the civil rights struggle, showing us Lewis the religious and peaceful man and how he shaped Twentieth Century America as much as Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and Samual Adams. A good read, which gives valuable insight into the beginnings of the American civil rights movement.

Project Power is an American superhero film The premise of this show is very straightforward: it follows the ups and downs but does not follow the usual superhero format — it’s a much more gritty, violent of various people taking a driving test, all action piece. Wexford has been voted in the top three of places to visit for a staycation and it makes a lot of sense why. It has a 250km-long coastline with many blue flags and green coast-awarded beaches, with pretty much every possible water activity available, from surfing to windsurfing and many more. Castles and Victorian houses abound, many with gardens free to explore or for family walks. Wexford city itself is well known for its narrow medieval streets, with many beautiful buildings and places to eat out. A great choice for families which will cater to everyone’s interests.

Smaller kids can be nervous about going back to school and it might not compare to the excitement and fun of the summer holidays! So instead of bringing your child to a shop and buying stationery and supplies, you could organise a scavenger hunt for them. Simply get all the school supplies and lay them around the house, then get them to run around and find them. You could talk to them about how great all the items are and what they are used for.

The Call of the Wild is a thrilling adventure film based on the Jack London novel of the same name and directed by Chris Sanders, in his first live action film. Starring Harrison Ford, Dan Stevens and Omar Sy, the movie follows a dog who is stolen from his home in California and sent to Yukon, in Canada, where he meets many colourful characters before embarking on a fascinating adventure at the height of the Gold Rush. This is a fun watch — who doesn’t love a movie about a dog and an old man who also happens to be Harrison Ford? An adventure movie the whole family can enjoy.

They have eight electric bikes for hire all year round, which you can take for a selfguided trip around the Boyne Valley, opt for some kayaking and rafting on the river, or just take some tours around the farm. They also have a tree-climbing area, and if you fancy a stay on the farm, you can, in their eco-friendly “glamping” facilities, which is really camping in style. The perfect day out — or weekend away for the family.

This documentary was made using original World War One footage taken from the Imperial War Museums archives, seen here for the first time. The audio was added by the BBC and is mainly interviews from soldiers who fought in the war. The director, Peter Jackson, wanted it to be an intimate experience of what it was like to be a soldier, rather than just a story of events. Jackson’s grandfather fought in the war and this is dedicated to him. Most of the footage is colourised, which is an incredible and intriguing feature. Well worth a watch.

We never knew that September day, That sorrow was so near, That God was going to take you, The daughter we loved so dear, Your pleasures were simple, And wants were few, You did not deserve what you went through, In our home there is a picture, With face more precious than gold, And to us who loved and lost you, Your face will never grow old, To your place of rest we travel, The hardest part of all, Is to have to leave you there, Another year without you Sharon. - Love and miss you so much Mam and Dad, brothers Ray, Trevor, Jordan, Shane, sister Sarah. In our hearts she will always remain. - Love, your one and only sister Sarah, Kevin and Jayden.

In loving memory of our daughter Stacy Power, late of 128 Sweetbriar Lawn, Tramore, Co. Waterford, who died on the 6th September 2017. Remembering you is easy, I do it every day, But missing you is a heartache, That never goes away, I hold you tightly in my heart, And there you shall remain, Until my life on earth does end, When we will meet again.

2nd Anniversary PAUL POWER

Prayer to st. joseph Oh, St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in you all my interest and desires. Oh St. Joseph do assist me by your powerful intercession, and obtain for me from your divine Son all spiritual blessing, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. So that, having engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of Fathers. Oh, St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating you, and Jesus asleep in your arms; I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Press Him in my name and kiss his fine head for me and ask Him to return the Kiss when I draw my dying breath. St Joseph, Patron of departing souls - Pray for me. D.P

In loving memory of Paul Power, late of Ballycashin, Butlerstown, Grangecohen, St. Johns Park, whose 2nd anniversary occurs on 2nd September. Mass offered in Butlerstown Church on Sunday 6th September at 10 o’clock mass. You bide no last farewell, You gave your hand to none, Your spirit flew before we knew, That you from us had gone, Though your smile is gone forever, And your hand we cannot touch, We shall never lose sweet memories, Of you we loved so much. - Forever in our hearts, your brothers Sonny, Ray, Bill, sisters Breda, Maura, Olive, Nancy, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces and nephews. I think of him in silence, His name I oft recall, There is nothing left to answer, But his picture on the wall. - Love your niece Sarah, Kevin and Jayden.

In loving memory of Jane Kelly, late of Hennessy’s Road, whose anniversary occurs on 1st September. Mam, A smile for all, a heart of gold, One of the best this world could hold, Never selfish, always kind, These are the memories you left behind, To hear your voice, to see your smile, To sit and talk with you a while, To be together in the same old way, Would be my dearest wish today, Though absent you are always near, Still loved, still missed every single year. - Always remembered and loved, your son Paul If roses grow in heaven Lord, Please pick a bunch for me, Place them in my mams arms, And tell her they’re from me, Tell her that I love and miss her, And when she turns to smile, Place a kiss upon her cheek, And hold her for a while. Remembering her is easy, I do it every day, But there’s an ache within my hearts, That will never go away. - Sadly missed by your daughter Margaret, grandchildren and great grandchildren Mam, I thought of you today, But that is nothing new, I thought of you yesterday, And the day before that too, I will think of you tomorrow, As I will my whole life through, For the day I fail to think of you , Is the day God takes me too. - Love and miss you every day, from your daughter Mary, son in law Gerard, Forget you Mam, I never will, For in my heart, I love you still, For every thought, there is a tear, For the Mam I lost and loved so dear. - Always loved and remembered by your son Jon, daughter-in law Gorettie and grandchildren

Lots of things have happened Mam, Since you passed away, Things you could have shared with us, If God had let you stay, But a heart of gold stopped beating, Two smiling eyes took rest, It is true when it is said, God only takes the best, I know all my life I will miss you, For you meant all the world to me, I have many precious memories, That others cannot see, They are mine to keep forever, From which I will never part, I’ll hold them close to me, Locked inside my heart, In Heaven one day I’ll find you, And all the hurt will go, Then I’ll put my arms around you, And say I love you so. - Loved and missed by your son Joseph & daughter-in-law. Frances No longer in our lives to share, But in our hearts you are always there, A silent thought, A quiet prayer, For a special Nanny In God’s care. - From Sabrina and Aidan A tribute of love to a nanny so dear, So close to our hearts each day of the year, We will always have memories to cherish and hold Of a wonderful nanny, more precious than gold. - From your grandchildren Jane and John. Although we smile And make no fuss, No one misses you more than us, And when old times we do recall, That’s when we miss you most of all. - From your grand daughter Lisa, Cliffy and great grandchildren No matter how life changes, No matter what we do, A special place within our hearts Is always kept for you. - From your grand daughter Lynn, Martin and great grandchildren A smile for all, A heart of gold, One of the best, This world could hold, Never selfish, always kind, These are the memories, You left behind. - Love always, from your son John, daughter in law Gorette and family

Novena to the Sacred Heart Dear Heart of Jesus, in the past I have asked for many favours, this time I ask for this one special favour (mention favour). In loving memory of Marie Doyle, late of 15 Ursuline Court, whose birthday occurs on 7th September. Softly the leaves of memories fall, Gently we bend to gather them all, Unseen, unheard yet always near, Still missed, still loved, still very dear. - Never forgotten, Mary and Jean.

9th Anniversary RICHARD HEARNE

In loving memory of Richard Hearne, late of 135 Ballybeg Drive, who sadly passed away on the 4th September 2011. Along the road of suffering, You found a little lane, That took you up to heaven, And ended all your pain, You may be out of sight, We may be worlds apart, But remember my dear son, You’re always in our prayers, And forever in our hearts. - Love and miss you every day, love Mam and Dad, brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. o holy st anthony Gentlest of saints, your love for God and charity for your neighbour, made you worthy while on earth to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought I implore of you to obtain for me my request. The answer to my prayer may require a miracle, even so you are the saint of miracles. O gentle and loving St Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, intercede for me and whisper my prayer into the ear of the sweet Infant Jesus who loved to linger in your arms and the gratitude of my heart will be yours. P.G. Novena Prayer to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Remember, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, the great things the Lord has done for you; He chose you for His mother, He wanted you close to His cross, He gives you a share in His glory. He listens to your prayer. Offer Him our prayers of praise and thanksgiving. Present our petitions to Him. Share your petitions silently with Our Lady. Let us live like you in the love of your Son that His Kingdom may come. Lead all people to the source of living water that flows from His Heart, spreading over the world hope and salvation, justice, and peace. See our trust in you; answer our prayer. Show yourself always, our Mother. Amen. J.P.
