Letter from the Founder
SWEET WOMAN OF GOD,
Today is a day to rejoice, you opened your eyes to a new day. What is it that God has in store for you today? As we approach our filled days with many different ideas and emotions that hit us upon waking up, I encourage you to look for peace. You will find true peace when you look up to the God of creation.

Peace
We are living within a world where Peace is something everyone wants, yet few seem to find. What is peace? Peace can be defined as “tranquility, harmony, or security.” Depending on the situation, it could mean “prosperity” or “well-being.” Peace is causally related to the actions and attitudes of individuals; but it is ultimately a gift from God.
Many of us will dash into our days, bolting like a racehorse just released out of the gates. Sweet Woman, my encouragement to you is to find another approach to your day and the days ahead. Instead, try walking into your day with purpose. Allow God to direct your course one step at a time.
Open your eyes each day with gratitude. A grateful heart protects us from negative thinking. Thankfulness enables us to see abundance all around us. God’s love brings true inner peace. It fills our space, time, and eternity.
God commands us to seek peace - we should “make every effort to do what leads to peace.” “So then, make it your top priority to live a life of peace, with harmony in your relationships, eagerly seeking to strengthen and encourage one another.” (Romans 14:19, TPT)
Romans 14:19, TPT
Be on guard for self-pity. When you are weary and not feeling well, this can be the greatest trap you face. Be on guard and keep a safe distance from this pit.
We can protect ourselves by fixing our eyes on God. Many of us need a means to do this. Spend time with Him each day by reading His Holy Word. Read uplifting material that contains His scripture and allows you to focus on Him.
When sitting quietly, allow peace to settle over you, it is in these incredibly quiet moments that you can listen for the still, small voice of God. “Be still and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10, NIV) Feel God’s loving presence. It is a rare treasure to find true inner peace.
Scripture reminds us to keep our focus always on Him. “You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because He trusts you.” (Isaiah 26:3, NLT) When our focus is on God and His Word, we can experience the true inner peace He intended for our comfort, the peace only He can give.
As we press into the days ahead, it is our desire as a ministry to encourage you and help you focus on the peace that only God can provide. Around our world, women are experiencing many different obligations of life. We each have the choice to either trust God’s promises and allow His peace to have rule over us, or to rely on ourselves and reject the peace He offers.
This world will continue to have heartache, interpersonal conflicts, struggles and hardships that consistently wage war against us. Jesus Christ came to establish true, lasting peace, and God will give His peace to those who trust Him.
May you find rest today as you focus on the peace that only God can provide. Dig deep inside the vast creation of your being to find the quiet love that only God can give you. God is waiting to blanket His comfort, security, and love over your body, enveloping you as you move throughout your day. May your day be filled with abundant peace, extravagant love, and unending joy from the Savior who waits patiently to provide it for you.
