I am the Light
This painting was developed over time with many layers. These layers took the painting and me on a journey of enlightenment. I was teaching my creativity course and had this painting up on the large screen, I shared how, when I was 4 years old, I didn’t speak and I would lose myself in my art, this was my special place with Jesus. One of the women came up to me after in tears and said her 4 year old daughter was the same, she wouldn’t speak but loved her art. I gave her the actual painting the next week and told her to hang it in her daughter’s bedroom. The little girl was so excited. The next day the daughter went to kindergarten and started speaking. The teachers could not believe what was happening. She now continues to speak and her art is beautiful - she paints with Jesus. This was such a miracle and so beautifully planned by God for this painting to be on the screen and for this mother to be in my course. Praise our heavenly kind Father.
As you look into the eyes of Jesus, focus on His light - deep pools of His love. Take this light with you and emerge out of the darkness. His light carries the beauty of His garden of His heart. Smell the sweet aroma as you believe for new beginnings, and let an abundance of hope arise. The tulips represent an emergence of new life. The Holy Spirit is there for guidance and comfort, giving you courage to face this new season.
“Lord, you are my secret hiding place, protecting me from these troubles, surrounding me with songs of gladness! Your joyous shouts of rescue release my breakthrough.” Psalm 32:7 (TPT)
