VOLUNTEER NEWSLETTER
Your Collective Impact 4,150 Volunteer Hours Served in 2022
April was a wonderful month for adoptions at Animal Care League. We had more than 100 adoptions, and none of that would have been possible without all of you helping us! Thank you for all of your time and effort that you put into our animals. We are also putting more effort into foster than ever before. Now is the time if you have ever considered fostering to reach out and see if you would be a good fit! We have plenty of short-term and long-term animals in need of a loving home where they can relax until they find their forever home. If you are curious about fostering, reach out to me at volunteer@animalcareleague.org to get started!

Lost/Found Task Force Volunteer Position Spotlight What is the lost/found task force? The Lost/Found Task Force is a new volunteer group devoted to reuniting animals with their families as quickly as possible. Volunteers are needed to help us post in social media groups, check lost/found pet websites, answer questions from community members, and hang flyers in the area where animals are lost or found. If you are social media savvy or would be interested in going out into the community to reunite lost pets with their family, reach out to Rebecca at volunteer@animalcareleague.org to learn more!

Queso and Fundito (adopted March 2022) are settling into their new home! They both love their daily treat sessions and are starting to become more brave. Their favorite activities include people watching from the window and chatting with each other! Page 9
WHERE ARE THEY NOW? UPDATES ON SOME OF ACL'S FAVORITE PETS
Captain Jack (adopted April 2017, now Jack) helped walk his mom down the aisle last September! In a couple weeks he will be in his first agility competition.
Artemis (adopted April 2022, now Apple) is so sweet and trusting in her new home!
Bumble Bee (adopted April 2021, now Lumo) likes to keep life interesting with her big personality! Her favorite thing is to sit by the lake and peanut butter treats. Yum! Page 10
