PROPOSED ROAD CLOSURES

# Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 Temporary Closure of N31 Old Dunleary Road The Roads Maintenance Section of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has requested the temporary Closure of the N31, (Old Dunleary Road) Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin from Salthill DART Station to Cumberland Street to facilitate road resurfacing works.

The period of the closure is between the hours of 7pm to 5am on the nights of 11th /12th and 12th /13th July 2016.

The road closure will extend to the adjacent Link Road (opposite Salthill DART Station) and Longford Terrace.

Local access and Emergency access will be provided at all times.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and diversion routes will be signposted.

A diversion route will be signposted via Cumberland Street, Monkstown Crescent, Monkstown Road, Temple Hill, Newtown Avenue, Seapoint Avenue and vice versa.

Any interested party may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire or via email at traffic@dlrcoco.ie on or before 12 noon on 1st July 2016.

ROAD CLOSURES

» Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 Temporary Closure of Killiney Road, Killiney Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from Conor Miley of Amazon Developments, Unit 4 Ballymount Corporate Park, Ballymount Avenue Upper, Ballymount, Dublin 12 to temporarily close Killiney Road from the junction of Ballinclea Road to Killiney Hill Road to through traffic from Monday 8th August, 2016 to Wednesday 17th August, 2016.

The purpose of the closure is to make a connection to the mains water and foul water system to a new housing estate and also a surface water culvert diversion.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be clearly signposted.

Local Access will be maintained at all times.

Any interested parties may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire not later than noon on Friday 22 nd July, 2016 or email traffic@dlrcoco.ie

Bird Avenue Road and Footpath Improvements Scheme

Works to be undertaken between 2nd August and mid/end October 2016 Proposed Road Works and Traffic Management Notice Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, Road Maintenance Section, propose to undertake extensive road and footpath improvement works along Bird Avenue, Clonskeagh, Dublin 14.

This work will involve full road reconstruction. Drainage works and kerb realignments to facilitate the provision of indented parking.

While local access will be maintained at all times, these works will entail severe restrictions for through traffic in order that the Scheme can be completed in a safe and efficient manner.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place.

No. 4 to 8 Mount Carmel Avenue, Churchtown *

Footpath repair works will commence at No. 4 to 8 Mount Carmel Avenue on Monday, 13th June 2016 until Friday, 8th July 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Bird Avenue, Clonskeagh *** Works to facilitate the upgrade of a watermain on behalf of Irish Water will continue on Bird Avenue, Clonskeagh from Tuesday, 14th June 2016 for a period of six weeks.

A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Knockrabo, Mount Anville Road ** New Entrance construction works will commence on Monday, 27th June until Thursday, 14th July 2016 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Stillorgan Road (N11) / Johnstown Road Junction ** Works to facilitate the upgrade of the junction of Stillorgan Road / Johnstown Road junction will take place from the end of May 2016 to the end of October 2016. Various traffic restrictions will apply over the duration of the scheme. The outbound bus lane on the N11 is currently closed approaching the junction.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works Roebuck Road, Goatstown ** Slit trench exploration works in carriageway and grass area for site development will take place at Knockrabo Lodge from Monday, 20th June 2916 to Friday, 22nd July 2016 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

Irish Water * Irish Water meter installation works will continue next week.
