Temporary Closure of Roads within Sandyford Business Park to facilitate The 2016 Twilight Team Challenge 5K Race Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council has received an application from Dundrum South Dublin Athletic Club, in association with Sandyford Business District Association for partial to full closure of a number of roads within Sandyford Business Park on: Thursday, 29th September 2016 to facilitate the 2016 Twilight Team Challenge 5K Race. The Start Time of the Race is 7.30 p.m. It is envisaged that the roads will be closed at 7.15 p.m. and will remain closed until after the completion of the race at 8.30 a.m. The Roads affected are as follows: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.

Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 Temporary Closure of Beech Park Drive, Foxrock Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from Vitus Homes Ltd, Construction Project Design Ltd., 19 Fitzwilliam Square, Dublin 2 to temporarily close Beech Park Drive from house No. 38 to house No. 64. The closure is to take place from: Monday, 10th October 2016 to Friday, 14th October 2016 inclusive. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate drainage and re-instatement works. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be clearly signposted. Local Access will be maintained at all times. Kildare to temporarily close Barnhill Road to through traffic from Castlepark Road Junction to Barnhill Avenue Junction. The closure is to take place from: Monday, 26th September 2016 to Thursday, 29th September 2016 inclusive. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate a storm water connection. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be signposted. Local Access will be maintained at all times. ROAD CLOSURES Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 Temporary Closure of Tivoli Terrace South, Dún Laoghaire Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Traffic Section has approved the temporary closure of Tivoli Terrace South, Dún Laoghaire from its Junction with York Road to its Junction with Tivoli Terrace East from: Wednesday, 17th August 2016 to Friday, 21st October 2016 inclusive, in order to facilitate road restoration and associated works as part of Dún LaoghaireRathdown County Council’s Road Restoration Programme 2016. A Traffic Management Plan with diversion routes will be in operation and local access will be maintained for the full duration of the works.
Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Johnstown Road, Cabinteely Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Traffic Section has approved the temporary closure of Johnstown Road between the junctions with the N11 and the Old Bray Road, Cabinteely. The closure is to take place from 19.30 to 06.00 hrs. each night from: Monday, 19th September to Thursday, 22nd September 2016. The purpose of the proposed closure is to facilitate road works as part of the N11Johnstown Road junction improvement scheme. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. The proposed diversion route will be via the Old Bray Road and onto the N11 at the junction with Clonkeen Road and vice versa. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion will be clearly signposted. Page 3 of 8

Dundrum Bypass, Dundrum ***
Irish Crane Hire Ltd. will install a short lane closure on the Dundrum Bypass, beside the entrance / egress to the goods delivery area for the Dundrum Shopping Centre to facilitate the lifting of equipment onto the Shopping Centre roof. The date and times of the lane closure to be between 6.00am and 11.00am on Sunday 18th September 2016. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation during the works.

Work will take place on the Dundrum Bypass near the exit from the Dundrum Shopping Centre from Monday, 19th September 2016 until Wednesday, 21st September 2016 inclusive, between the hours of 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. daily, to facilitate a gas connection

Pottery Road, Dún Laoghaire **
Works will take place to construct two new bus stops on Pottery Road from Monday, 19th September 2016 for a period of four weeks. Where possible two-way traffic will be maintained, however it may be necessary to use Stop/Go intermittently during the works between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Brewery Road to UCD Bridge Northbound on the N11 *
There will be road sweeping and gully cleaning from Brewery Road to UCD Bridge Northbound on the N11 this Saturday and Sunday 17th and 18th September 2016 starting at 07:00 and finishing at 15:00 hrs. Traffic Management and slow moving crash cushion vehicle will be in operation at this location and times.

Tivoli Terrace South, DĂşn Laoghaire ***
A Full Road Closure will be in place on Tivoli Terrace South from Monday, 19th September 2016 to Friday, 23rd September 2016 to facilitate Road and Footpath Restoration works. For the first phase of works local access and egress on to Tivoli Terrace South will be maintained from Tivoli Terrace East. Restoration works will be undertaken during the hours of 08:00 to 18:00 hrs. However, the Road Closure will remain in place over night with night supervision. To facilitate works Pay and Display parking spaces will be suspended as required and Local access will be maintained at all times. A Traffic Management Plan will include signed detours for approaching traffic, and a Stop / Go system (as required) will operate within the works area.

Road Planing and resurfacing of entrance and within car parking area of train station will continue on Monday, 19th September 2016 until Friday, 23rd September 2016 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. Convent Road, Blackrock **
KN Network Services will be carrying out footpath widening works on Convent Road, Blackrock from its junction with Carysfort Avenue to Carysfort National School Entrance. Works will be carried out from Monday, 18th July until Friday 30th September 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation. Page 6 of 8
N11 / Johnstown Road Junction *** (Night Works) Works to facilitate the upgrade of the junction of Stillorgan Road (N11) / Johnstown Road junction will take place from the end of June 2016 to the end of November 2016. Various traffic restrictions will apply over the duration of the scheme. Major road works will take place from 12th September to 22nd September 2016 between 19:00 and 05:00 hrs. Monday to Friday with lane restrictions on all approaches to the junction. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of these works and the remainder of the junction works.
Allen Park Road/Drive, Stillorgan ** Road resurfacing works will continue until Friday, 23rd September 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. Severe restrictions will be in place and temporary road closure. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation. VMS Signs will be used for information purposes.
Bird Avenue, Churchtown / Dundrum / Clonskeagh *** Footpath and road reconstruction works plus drainage and ducting works will take place from Monday, 15th August 2016 until end of November 2016 between 08:00 and 19:00 hrs. Severe traffic disruption is expected. Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
The Rise, Mount Merrion ** Kerb and bituminous footpath works will commence on Wednesday, 17th August 2016 until Friday, 30th September 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
Sallyglen Road, Sallynoggin ** The scheme to implement ‘New Bus Routings – Sallyglen Road’ started on site on Friday 12th August 2016 for a period of six weeks. Every attempt will be made to keep disruption at a minimum throughout the duration of the works, and a Traffic Management Plan will be in operation. The use of Stop / Go Traffic Management will be intermittently required throughout the works. Page 7 of 8
