PROPOSED ROAD CLOSURES

Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993

Airtricity Dublin City Marathon 2016 Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from the organisers of the Airtricity Dublin City Marathon 2016 to temporarily close the following Roads: 1.

Clonskeagh Road Roebuck Road Fosters Avenue Stillorgan Road (R138 dual carriageway), North from junction with Fosters Avenue and via the UCD flyover to the County Boundary.

The closure is to take place on: Sunday, 30th October 2016.

The purpose of the Closure is to facilitate the Airtricity Dublin city Marathon 2016.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place.

Any interested parties may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire not later than noon on: Wednesday, 12th October 2016 or email traffic@dlrcoco.ie

ROAD CLOSURES

Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 Temporary Closure of Beech Park Drive, Foxrock Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has approved the temporary closure of Beech Park Drive from house No. 38 to house No. 64.

The closure is to take place from: Monday, 10th October 2016 to Friday, 14th October 2016 inclusive.

The purpose of the closure is to facilitate drainage and re-instatement works.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be clearly signposted.

Local Access will be maintained at all times.

» Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 Temporary Closure of Green Road, Blackrock Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Traffic Section has approved the temporary closure of Green Road, Blackrock from Waltham Terrace to Beaumont Gardens.

The closure is to take place from: Monday, 26th September 2016 to Friday, 7th October 2016 inclusive.

The purpose of the closure is to facilitate gas main rehabilitation.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be clearly signposted.

Local Access will be maintained at all times.

Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 Temporary Closure of Tivoli Terrace South, Dún Laoghaire Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Traffic Section has approved the temporary closure of Tivoli Terrace South, Dún Laoghaire from its Junction with York Road to its Junction with Tivoli Terrace East from: Wednesday, 17th August 2016 to Friday, 21st October 2016 inclusive, in order to facilitate road restoration and associated works as part of Dún LaoghaireRathdown County Council’s Road Restoration Programme 2016.

A Traffic Management Plan with diversion routes will be in operation and local access will be maintained for the full duration of the works.

ROADWORKS / LANE RESTRICTIONS

Sallynoggin Road, Sallynoggin **

Road works will take place on the Sallynoggin Road between the Glenageary roundabout and the junction with Pearse Street from 10:00 to 16:00 hrs until the end of October.

The works are to facilitate connections to the public sewer from the adjacent Lidl development.

A Stop / Go Traffic Management arrangement will be in place and local access will be maintained.

Bird Avenue, Churchtown / Dundrum / Clonskeagh ***

Footpath and road reconstruction works plus drainage and ducting works will take place from Monday, 15th August 2016 until end of November 2016 between 08:00 and 19:00 hrs.

Severe traffic restrictions (road closure from 10am to 10pm each day) on Bird Avenue from Monday, 10th October 2016 to Friday, 14th October 2016 from the junction with Dundrum Road to Bechmount Drive.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

The Rise, Mount Merrion **

Kerb and bituminous footpath works will continue until Friday, 14th October 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Broadford Estate, Ballinteer *

Footpath restoration works will continue until Friday, 14th October 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Carmanhall Road, Sandyford Business District, Sandyford **

Work will take place to construct the Carmanhall Road Pedestrian Improvements Scheme, on Carmanhall Road, Sandyford, near the junction with Blackthorn Drive, from Monday, 10th October 2016 to Tuesday, 29th November 2016 inclusive.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation during this time. It will be necessary to use a Stop/Go Traffic Management set up intermittently during the works between the hours of 10:00 and 16:00 hours.

Ballinclea Road / Killiney Road AIP Scheme *** Works will commence on Wednesday, 5th October 2016 at the Ballinclea Road / Avondale Road junction to install the above scheme. Works will proceed along Ballinclea Road and onto Killiney Road. Construction will take approximately 8 weeks.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation which will include Stop / Go as necessary

N11 / Johnstown Road Junction *** Works to facilitate the upgrade of the junction of Stillorgan Road (N11) / Johnstown Road junction will take place from the end of June 2016 to the end of 2016.

Various traffic restrictions will apply over the duration of the scheme.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of these works and the remainder of the junction works.

Blackthorn Drive, Sandyford ** Work will take place on Blackthorn Drive, Sandyford, near the Luas Depot, from Monday, 3rd October 2016 until Friday, 7th October 2016 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs to facilitate works on behalf of Gas Networks Ireland.

A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be implemented during this time.

Convent Road, Blackrock ** KN Network Services will be carrying out footpath widening works on Convent Road, Blackrock from its junction with Carysfort Avenue to Carysfort National School Entrance.

Works will continue until Friday, 14th October 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

N11 Stillorgan Road ** (Night Works) Works to facilitate the renewal of bus lane, bus and cycle logos and bus stop road markings will take place from the end of September to the end of October 2016, weather permitting.

Various traffic restrictions will apply over the duration of the scheme with night works to take place between 23:00 and 06:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of these works

Pottery Road, DĂşn Laoghaire ** Works will take place to construct two new bus stops on Pottery Road from Monday, 26th September 2016 for a period of four weeks.

Where possible two-way traffic will be maintained, however it may be necessary to use Stop / Go intermittently during the works between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Sallyglen Road, Sallynoggin ** Works are taking place to construct new bus stops on Sallyglen Road.

Every attempt will be made to keep disruption at a minimum throughout the duration of the works, and a Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

The use of Stop / Go Traffic Management will be intermittently required throughout the works.

Public Lighting Lantern and Bracket Upgrade Works ** Public lighting lantern and bracket upgrade works will take place on: 1.

These works will continue until Friday, 25th November 2016.

A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation as required.

Newtownpark Avenue to Loughlinstown Roundabout Southbound on the N11/ * There will be gully cleaning from Newtownpark Avenue to Loughlinstown Roundabout Southbound on the N11 Saturday, 8th and Sunday, 9th October 2016 starting at 07:00 and finishing at 15:00 hrs.

Traffic Management and slow moving crash cushion vehicle will be in operation at these locations and times.

Avoca Avenue / Avoca Park, Blackrock * Footpath restoration works will commence on Monday, 3rd October 2016 until Friday, 28th October 2016 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Temporary Traffic Signals will also be in operation as required to facilitate works.

Dorney Court, Shankill * Road patching repair works will continue on Monday, 3rd October 2016 until Friday, 14th October 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Irish Water * Irish Water meter installation works will continue next week.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
