ROAD CLOSURES
Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993
Airtricity Dublin City Marathon 2016 Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from the organisers of the Airtricity Dublin City Marathon 2016 to temporarily close the following Roads: 1. 2. 3. 4.
Clonskeagh Road Roebuck Road Fosters Avenue Stillorgan Road (R138 dual carriageway), North from junction with Fosters Avenue and via the UCD flyover to the County Boundary.
The closure is to take place on: Sunday, 30th October 2016 from 9.00am to 5pm. The purpose of the Closure is to facilitate the Airtricity Dublin city Marathon 2016. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place. Local access will be provided during the closure of Roebuck Road for the Marathon by allowing for continuous access into Ardilea / Louvain Estate from the Mount Anville Road direction and egress via Harlech Grove to Goatstown Road. Manning of the Road Closures and the diversion of Traffic will be under the Control of the Gardaí and race organizers and will be clearly signposted. Local access will be maintained as fully as possible.

Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 Temporary Closure of Tivoli Terrace South, Dún Laoghaire Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Traffic Section has approved the temporary closure of Tivoli Terrace South, Dún Laoghaire from its Junction with York Road to its Junction with Tivoli Terrace East from: Wednesday, 17th August 2016 to Friday, 21st October 2016 inclusive, in order to facilitate road restoration and associated works as part of Dún LaoghaireRathdown County Council’s Road Restoration Programme 2016. The Road Closure will remain in place overnight and Local Access will be maintained at all times to Tivoli Terrace South via the Tivoli Terrace East. A signed detour will be in place for the duration of the works.

Frascati Road, Blackrock***
Road works will take place on Frascati Road, Blackrock between Mount Merrion Avenue and Rock Hill between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. from: Thursday, 13th October 2016 until Wednesday, 2nd November 2016. These works are associated with the redevelopment of Frascati Shopping Centre. Phase 1:
13th to 19th October 2016 Lane restrictions on Mount Merrion Avenue at its junction with Frascati Road and lane restrictions on Frascati Road near the entrance to Blackrock Park.
Phase 2:
19th to 26th October 2016 Lane restrictions on Rock Hill at the junction with Frascati Road.
Phase 3:
26th October to 2nd November 2016 Lane restrictions at the entrance to Frascati Shopping Centre opposite Rock Hill.
The sequence of these phases may vary and each phase may be a day or two longer or shorter depending on progress. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place.

Ballycorus Road, Ballycorus**
Works will take place on behalf of Eir to replace poles and cables along the Ballycorus Road between 09:00 and 17:00 hours beginning on Monday, 17th October 2016 for a period of six weeks. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in place for the duration of the works.

Goatstown Road / Larchfield Junction / Roebuck Road, Goatstown **
Public lighting lantern upgrade works will commence at the Goatstown Road / Taney Road / Mount Anville Road Junction on Tuesday evening, 18th October 2016 between 20:00 and 00:00 hrs. midnight and Wednesday, 19th October 2016 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plans will be in operation for the duration of the works.

Bird Avenue, Churchtown / Dundrum / Clonskeagh ***
Footpath and road reconstruction works plus drainage and ducting works will take place from Monday, 15th August 2016 until end of November 2016 between 08:00 and 19:00 hrs. Severe traffic restrictions (from 10am to 8pm daily) on Bird Avenue from: Monday, 10th October 2016 to Friday, 21st October 2016 between Beechmount Drive and The Maples and footpath at Glenswood. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Salthill DART Station, Monkstown ** and at the Junction of Longford Terrace
Landscaping and associated works will be undertaken within the car parking area of Salthill Dart station during the week commencing Monday, 17th October 2016 for duration of 2 weeks between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. Closure of parking bays will be phased as required to facilitate works. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Brooklawn, Blackrock ** and at the Junction of Mount Merrion Avenue

Footpath repairs and road restoration works will commence on Monday, 17th October 2016 for duration of 5 weeks between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Road resurfacing works will commence on Fairlawns, Saval Park Road during the week commencing Monday, 17th October 2016 for duration of 3 days from 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Hillside Estate / Dalkey Park / Dalkey Grove / Barnhill Avenue ** and all the adjoining junctions
Excavation and repair of multiple road patches will continue on Monday, 17th October 2016 for duration of 3 weeks between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

These works will continue until Friday 23/12/2016. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation as required.

Footpath restoration works will continue until Friday, 21st October 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Ballinclea Road / Killiney Road AIP Scheme *** Works will commence on Wednesday, 5th October 2016 at the Ballinclea Road / Avondale Road junction to install the above scheme. Works will proceed along Ballinclea Road and onto Killiney Road. Construction will take approximately 8 weeks. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation which will include Stop / Go as necessary
N11 / Johnstown Road Junction *** Works to facilitate the upgrade of the junction of Stillorgan Road (N11) / Johnstown Road junction will take place from the end of June 2016 to the end of 2016. Various traffic restrictions will apply over the duration of the scheme. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of these works and the remainder of the junction works.
Carmanhall Road, Sandyford Business District, Sandyford ** Work will take place to construct the Carmanhall Road Pedestrian Improvements Scheme, on Carmanhall Road, Sandyford, near the junction with Blackthorn Drive, from Monday, 10th October 2016 to Tuesday, 29th November 2016 inclusive. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation during this time. It will be necessary to use a Stop/Go Traffic Management set up intermittently during the works between the hours of 10:00 and 16:00 hours.
Sallynoggin Road, Sallynoggin ** Road works will take place on the Sallynoggin Road between the Glenageary roundabout and the junction with Pearse Street from 10:00 to 16:00 hrs until the end of October. The works are to facilitate connections to the public sewer from the adjacent Lidl development. A Stop / Go Traffic Management arrangement will be in place and local access will be maintained.
Convent Road, Blackrock ** KN Network Services will be carrying out footpath widening works on Convent Road, Blackrock from its junction with Carysfort Avenue to Carysfort National School Entrance. Works will continue until Friday, 14th October 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

N11 Stillorgan Road ** (Night Works) Works to facilitate the renewal of bus lane, bus and cycle logos and bus stop road markings will take place from the end of September to the end of October 2016, weather permitting. Various traffic restrictions will apply over the duration of the scheme with night works to take place between 23:00 and 06:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of these works
Pottery Road, DĂşn Laoghaire ** Works will take place to construct two new bus stops on Pottery Road from Monday, 26th September 2016 for a period of four weeks. Where possible two-way traffic will be maintained, however it may be necessary to use Stop / Go intermittently during the works between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
Sallyglen Road, Sallynoggin ** Works are taking place to construct new bus stops on Sallyglen Road. Every attempt will be made to keep disruption at a minimum throughout the duration of the works, and a Traffic Management Plan will be in operation. The use of Stop / Go Traffic Management will be intermittently required throughout the works.
Avoca Avenue / Avoca Park, Blackrock * Footpath restoration works will commence on Monday, 3rd October 2016 until Friday, 28th October 2016 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation. Temporary Traffic Signals will also be in operation as required to facilitate works.
Irish Water * Irish Water meter installation works will continue next week. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation. Further information on planned Irish Water works may be obtained from Page 6 of 7
