ROAD CLOSURES
Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 Extension to the Temporary Closure of Tivoli Terrace South, Dún Laoghaire Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Traffic Section has approved a further extension of the temporary closure of Tivoli Terrace South, Dún Laoghaire from its junction with York Road to its junction with Tivoli Terrace East from: Friday, 16th December 2016 to Saturday, 11th February 2017 inclusive, in order to facilitate the rehabilitation of a water main for Irish Water in addition to road restoration and associated works as part of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council’s Road Restoration Programme 2016. The Road Closure will remain in place overnight and Local Access will be maintained at all times to Tivoli Terrace South via the Tivoli Terrace East. A signed detour will be in place for the duration of the works.

Drainage works will commence on Monday, 23rd January 2017 until Friday, 27th January 2017 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

N11 Stillorgan Road, Stillorgan ** VMS Installation [variable message signs] near Commons Road - 2 sides of road, Stillorgan Grove outbound, past Galloping Green inbound, past Stillorgan Park Road inbound, Frascati Road inbound (near Sweetman’s Avenue)
Works will take place to create foundations and install VMS at various locations from Monday, 23rd January 2017 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. for 2 weeks. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Whitehall Road, Churchtown **
Works will resume on Whitehall Road near Good Shepherd National School, to complete permanent reinstatement of footpath and cycle track, until Friday, 10th February 2017. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation between 10:00 and 16:00 hours.

Work will take place on Main Street Dundrum near the junction with Kilmacud Road Upper to facilitate provision of Real Time Passenger Information Sign at bus stop 2826. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation between 10:00 and 16:00 hours between Monday, 23rd January 2017 and Friday, 27th January 2017 inclusive.

Brides Glen Road, Rathmichael **
Work will take place on Brides Glen Road between Cherrywood Road and Rathmichael Road to reinstate around manholes. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in place between 10:00 and 16:00 hours from Monday, 23rd January 2017 – Tuesday, 24th January 2017 inclusive.

Footpath and road restoration works are due to commence on Annaville Avenue during the week commencing Monday, 23rd January 2017 for duration of three weeks between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

N11 / Johnstown Road Junction ***
Works to facilitate the upgrade of the junction of Stillorgan Road (N11) / Johnstown Road junction will take place from the end of June 2016 to the end of January 2017. Final resurfacing to take place in March 2017. On Wednesday, 25th January the inbound bus lane will be closed at the junction to facilitate the resurfacing of a section of the bus lane. The 84 bus service will be diverted during the works which will last approximately 1 week. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place for duration of works.

Newtownpark Avenue / Newtown Park, Blackrock **
Road works will continue on the corner of Newtownpark Avenue / Newtown Park to facilitate utility connections to the redeveloped Playwright site until Friday, 27th January 2017 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A traffic light Switch Off and Stop / Go Traffic Management arrangement will be in place.

Tivoli Road / Royal Terrace West, DĂşn Laoghaire **
Road works will continue on Royal Terrace West to facilitate utility connections until Friday, 27th January 2017 inclusive between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A traffic light Switch Off and Stop / Go Traffic Management arrangement will be in place on Tivoli Road and Royal Terrace West.

Shanganagh Road, Shankill ** (from Bloomfield Court Texaco Station towards Beechfield Manor) Footpath restoration works will recommence during the week commencing Monday, 9th January 2017 until the end of January for three weeks between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. Lynnwood, Ballinteer * Footpath restoration works will continue until Saturday, 28th January 2017 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
Beaumont Drive, Churchtown * Footpath restoration works will continue until Saturday, 28th January 2017 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
Desmond Avenue, Dún Laoghaire * Public realm improvement works will commence on Monday, 16th January 2017 until Friday, 24th February 2017 between 09:00 and 17:00 hrs. There will be parking and access restrictions on Desmond Avenue during this period. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
Sloperton, Monkstown * Road patching repair works will commence on Wednesday, 18th January 2017 until Friday 27th January between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
St. Patrick’s Park, Stepaside * Work will take place to reconstruct one of the cul-de-sac roads outside No. 1-6 St. Patrick’s Park, Stepaside from Monday, 9th January 2017 for a period of 5-6 weeks. Vehicular access to the cul-de-sac will be restricted throughout the duration of the works.

Avoca Avenue / Avoca Park, Blackrock * Footpath restoration works will recommence on Monday, 9th January 2017 until Friday, 27th January 2017 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.
