ROAD CLOSURE
Cross Avenue, Blackrock - (Temporary Closure) * Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Traffic Section has made an order to close Cross Avenue , Blackrock at its junctions with Mount Merrion Avenue and Glenvar Park to through traffic from Monday, 10th April 2017 to Friday, 21st April 2017 both dates inclusive. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate road patching works and associated works. This work will be done on a phased basis which will allow local access to residents for the full duration of the works. The proposed diversion route will be signposted and further details will be available on our website. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of these works.

Lane closure and partial footpath closure will take place on Monday, 10th and Tuesday, 11th April 2017 from 10:00 to 16:00 hrs. to facilitate water connection to Castlethorn Development. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in place.
Cross Avenue and Environs, Dún Laoghaire *** Works are continuing on the Cross Avenue and Environs Scheme on the following roads: Mulgrave Street / Patrick Street / Cross Avenue (West of Tivoli Terrace) /Tivoli Terrace East. Local diversions and traffic restrictions will be in place to facilitate the works. Works are expected to be completed by Friday, 28th April 2017.

Roadstone Ltd. will commence patching repair works on Cross Avenue on Monday, 10 th April 2017 until Friday, 21st April 2017 from Glenvar Park to entrance of Sion Hill College between 07:30 and 16:30 hrs. Local diversions will be in place to facilitate the works.

Footpath restoration works will continue until 28th April 2017 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Goatstown Close, Goatstown *
Slit trench works will continue until Friday, 14th April 2017 between 8:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
R118 / Wyattville Dual Carriageway, Cherrywood *** The delivery of the Cherrywood Strategic Development Zone will involve significant construction works over the next 18 months in the Cherrywood area. The first phase of infrastructure provision for the Cherrywood Strategic Development Zone will be delivered by JCL the joint venture between John Cradock Ltd. / Jons Civil Engineering. Major road works began on the Wyattville Dual Carriageway between M50 Junction 16 and the N11 at Cherrywood, on 9th February 2017 and will continue for the remainder of the year. The primary focus of this phase of the infrastructure works is the upgrade of the Wyattville Roundabout to a signalised junction, and upgrade of Tullyvale Road, involving road construction, road drainage, public lighting, provision of utilities, etc. Traffic restrictions will be in place for the duration and delays can be expected. It is intended to retain two lanes of traffic inbound and outbound. Please note that Pay and Display parking on Tullyvale Road will cease permanently from 1st February 2017, however, Pay and Display parking is available adjacent to the Brides Glen Luas stop, on Cherrywood Avenue Extension. Annaville Avenue, Blackrock ** Footpath and road restoration works will continue on Annaville Avenue until Friday, 14 th April 2017 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
Broadford Rise, Ballinteer ** Footpath restoration works will continue until Friday, 28th April 2017 between 8:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
