ROAD CLOSURES

Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 Temporary Closure of Castle Street, Dalkey Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Traffic Section has made an order to temporarily close Castle Street from Allied Irish Bank to The Church of the Assumption, Castle Street, Dalkey on Saturday 17th June, 2017 and Sunday 18th June, 2017 from 12 noon to 6.00 p.m. in order to promote ‘Dalkey Book Festival’. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate and enhance the cultural event. A Traffic Management Plan with diversion routes will be in operation and local access will be maintained for the full duration of the event.

Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 Temporary Closure of Main Street, Dundrum Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Traffic Section has made an order to temporarily close Main Street, Dundrum between its junctions with Upper Kilmacud Road to just south of the entrance to the Village Centre car park. The closure is to take place from 1.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. on Sunday, 25th June 2017. The purpose of the proposed closure is to facilitate the ‘Dundrum Arts & Cultural

Festival’. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and all diversions will be signposted. Local access will be maintained at all times.

Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 Temporary Closure of Meadow Mount, and Section of Meadow Grove, Ballinteer *** Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Traffic Section has made an order to temporarily close Meadow Mount and a section of Meadow Grove, Ballinteer. The closure is to take place from 6.30 p.m. – 9.30 p.m. on Wednesday, 21st June 2017. The purpose of the proposed closure is to facilitate the ‘Stephen Roche Cycle Race’. Diversion of traffic will be via Barton Road East, Meadow Avenue, Meadow Grove, Willow Road and Beech Lawn and vice versa. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be signposted. Emergency Access can be provided, if required, during the period of the road closure.

Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 Temporary Closure of Sallynoggin Park Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Traffic Section has made an order to temporarily close Sallynoggin Park at the new Housing Development ‘The Mews’ from 19th June 2017 to 14th July 2017 inclusive, in order to facilitate drainage connections and associated works adjacent to 49 Sallynoggin Park. A Traffic Management Plan with diversion routes will be in operation and local access will be maintained for the full duration of the works.

Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 Temporary Closure of Nerano Road, Dalkey Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Traffic Section has made an order to temporarily close Nerano Road, Dalkey from its Junction with Sorrento Road to its junction with Green Road from 19th June, 2017 to 23rd June, 2017 inclusive, in order to facilitate the laying of a gas main. A Traffic Management Plan with diversion routes will be in operation and local access will be maintained for the full duration of the works.

PROPOSED ROAD CLOSURE

Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 Temporary Closure of Thornhill Road at Fassaroe, Bray Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from Irish Water to temporarily close Thornhill Road from the Old Fassaroe Roundabout. Access will be restricted for the first 250 metres for Site Investigation Works. The closure is to take place from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. each day from Monday 26th June to Friday 7th July, 2017. Depending on progress these dates may be reduced. Page 2 of 6


Pedestrian Access will be maintained at all times. The proposed diversion route will be via the Old Fassaroe Roundabout, over the N11 and follow the route north bound along the Upper Dargle Road then left on the Dublin Road (R761) then left onto Old Connaught Avenue, passing over the N11 and turn left on to Thornhill Road. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversions will be clearly signposted.

Update: Nutgrove Avenue / Nutgrove Way, Rathfarnham *** (Nightworks)

Major road works on Nutgrove Avenue / Nutgrove Way will continue until Friday, 14th July 2017 between 19:30 and 05:00 hrs. Lights will be switched off and VMS signs are in place giving notice of works. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Grange Road / Pine Valley, Rathfarnham ***

Footpath renewal works will continue until Friday, 14th July 2017 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Desmond Avenue, DĂşn Laoghaire **

ESB and public lighting upgrade works will continue on Desmond Avenue until Friday, 30th June 2017 from 09:00 until 17:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation as required. There will be restrictions on pay and display parking on Desmond Avenue to facilitate the works.

Sycamore Road, Mount Merrion *

Drainage works will continue until Friday, 23rd June 2017 between 8:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Footpath restoration works will continue until Friday, 23rd June 2017 between 8:00 and 18:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

R118 / Wyattville Dual Carriageway, Cherrywood **** The delivery of the Cherrywood Strategic Development Zone will involve significant construction works over the next 18 months in the Cherrywood area. The first phase of infrastructure provision for the Cherrywood Strategic Development Zone will be delivered by JCL the joint venture between John Cradock Ltd. / Jons Civil Engineering. Major road works began on the Wyattville Dual Carriageway between M50 Junction 16 and the N11 at Cherrywood, on 9th February 2017 and will continue for the remainder of the year. The primary focus of this phase of the infrastructure works is the upgrade of the Wyattville Roundabout to a signalised junction, and upgrade of Tullyvale Road, involving road construction, road drainage, public lighting, provision of utilities, etc. Traffic restrictions will be in place for the duration and delays can be expected. It is intended to retain two lanes of traffic inbound and outbound. Please note that Pay and Display parking on Tullyvale Road will cease permanently from 1st February 2017, however, Pay and Display parking is available adjacent to the Brides Glen Luas stop, on Cherrywood Avenue Extension. From the 24th April 2017, traffic shall be reduced to 1 lane in both directions on the R118 Wyattville Link Rd between the N11 and M50 from 10am and 4pm daily. This is to facilitate the installation of new service crossings across the R118 Wyattville Link Road in multiple locations. This shall be continued daily for approximately 6 weeks. From the 24th April 2017, it is also intended to install barriers to the median of the R118 Wyattville Link Rd (between the M50 and Cherrywood Roundabout) to facilitate works in the median. This shall stay in place for approximately 8 weeks. Two lanes shall be maintained.

Wyattville Road Pedestrian and Cycle Scheme *** Work commenced on the Wyattville Road Pedestrian and Cycle Scheme on Monday, 8th May 2017 between 08.00 and 18.00 hrs. Monday to Friday. Works affecting two-way traffic are restricted between 10:00 and 16:00 hours. The scheme involves the upgrade of Wyattville Road between Wyattville Close and Churchview Road and is expected to continue until May 2018. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Frascati Shopping Centre Extension *** Right Turn into Shopping Centre from City Centre - Closed Straight Ahead into Shopping Centre from Rock Hill - Closed In order to facilitate the on-going extension works at Frascati Shopping Centre the existing right turn lane, on the outbound carriageway from the City Centre and the existing straight ahead movement from Rock Hill into Frascati Shopping Centre will be closed for the next 6 months. The temporary closures of the right hand turning lane and straight ahead movement from Rock Hill are to facilitate the on-going construction process for the new underground car park. A one-way traffic management system will be implemented on site to facilitate the works. Car park attendants will be deployed at peak times within the shopping centre to ensure that shopping centre traffic operates smoothly during the period of the development works. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works. Diversions will be in place to direct traffic towards the shopping centre entrance at the end of Georges Avenue.

Monkstown Village Improvement Scheme *** Work commenced on the Monkstown Village Improvement Scheme on Monday, 24th April 2017 between 08.00 and 18.00 hrs. Monday to Friday. Works affecting two-way traffic through the Village are restricted between 10:00 and 16:00 hours. The first phase of the works will focus on the area around the Church of Ireland and will continue until June 2017. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and information relating to the scheme will be available at: www.dlrcoco.ie/monkstown

Enniskerry Road, Kilternan *** Works will continue on Enniskerry Road until Friday, 7th July 2017 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management System will be in operation. Page 5 of 6


Kilgobbin Road, Sandyford *** between junction of Ballyogan Road and Sandyford Hall Footpath and road restoration works will continue until Friday, 23rd June 2017 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation. Lights will be switched out on Ballyogan Junction.

N11 - Southbound from its junction with Johnstown Road to Kilbogget Grove ** Work commenced on Monday, 13th May 2017 until Monday, 3rd July 2017 on the upgrading of end of life public lighting columns and lanterns. Working hours 10:00 - 16:00 hours and 19:30 - 00:00 hours (if required). A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the work.

N11 – Northbound from ESSO Garage to Johnstown Road Junction ** Work commenced on Tuesday, 23rd May 2017 until Monday, 3rd July 2017 on the upgrading of end of life public lighting columns and lanterns. Working hours 10:00 - 16:00 hours and 19:30 - 00:00 hours (if required). A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the work.
