Temporary Closure of Tivoli Road, Dún Laoghaire Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council has received an application from Activo Network and in-home division to temporarily close Tivoli Road at the junction of Eglinton Park from 2nd January, 2018 to 9th January, 2018 inclusive, in order to facilitate excavation works.

A Traffic Management Plan with diversion routes will be in operation and local access will be maintained for the full duration of the works.

Any interested party may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin or email traffic@dlrcoco.ie on or before noon on Wednesday 20th December, 2017.

ROAD CLOSURES

Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 Temporary Closure of Kelly’s Avenue, Dún Laoghaire Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from John Sisk and Sons (Holdings) Ltd., Wilton Works, Naas Road, Dublin 22, to extend the period of temporary closure of Kelly’s Avenue, Dún Laoghaire from its junction with Georges Place to its junction with Crofton Road to through traffic. The road will be closed to through traffic for the following periods: from Monday, 18th December to Friday 22nd December 2017 and from Tuesday, 2nd January to Saturday 6th January 2018.

The purpose of the closure is to allow safe movement of materials onto the site of the new Rapid Delivery housing development at George’s Place, Dún Laoghaire.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be clearly signposted.

Local Access will be maintained at all times.

Section 75, Roads Act 1993 Temporary Closure of St. Fintan’s Park, Deansgrange St. Fintan’s Park will be closed from the end of the green area until the junction St. Fintan’s Park with Abbey Court. This closure is proposed from 9.00 to 5.00pm each day from Wednesday the 03/01/18 to Friday the 02/02/18.

Pedestrian and local access will be maintained at all times. The proposed diversion routes will be via Abbey Road and Deansgrange Road. A traffic and pedestrian management plan will be in place and diversions will be clearly signposted.

The purpose of the closure is to make a foul and surface water connection for the new housing development on Abbey Road.

ROADWORKS / LANE RESTRICTIONS

Âť One-way link road between South County Business Park and N31 * There will be a traffic management system in place on Thursday 21st December 2017 from 06.30 to 16.30 on this road.

The traffic management system will close the east footpath and cycle lane on the link road. It will also close the right turning lane into the One South County construction site as well as the southbound lane leaving the site.

The traffic management will consist of a line of fencing which will maintain the south to north single traffic lane.

Ballinteer Road, Dundrum ***

Stone wall construction, bank formation and tree removal between Lynwood and Ailsbury Lawns will continue until Friday, 22nd December 2017 between 10:00 and 16:30 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Mapas Road, Dalkey **

Footpath restoration works will continue until Friday, 22nd December 2017 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

R118 / Wyattville Dual Carriageway, Cherrywood *** Works are well advanced on the delivery of the first phase of the road infrastructure for the Cherrywood Strategic Development Zone by JCL, the joint venture between John Cradock Ltd. and Jons Civil Engineering.

This involves major road works along the Wyattville Dual Carriageway, between the M50 Junction 16 and the N11 at Cherrywood. This work is expected to continue until March 2018.

During free-flow there will be no road restrictions, with at least two traffic lanes opened in both directions.

Construction works will continue in the verges and slip lanes off the carriageway.

Wyattville Road Pedestrian and Cycle Scheme *** Work commenced on the Wyattville Road Pedestrian and Cycle Scheme on Monday, 8th May 2017 between 08.00 and 18.00 hrs. - Monday to Friday.

The scheme involves the upgrade of Wyattville Road between Wyattville Close and Churchview Road and is expected to continue until May 2018.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.

Monkstown Village Improvement Scheme *** Work commenced on the Monkstown Village Improvement Scheme on Monday, 24th April 2017 between 08.00 and 18.00 hrs. - Monday to Friday.

Works affecting two-way traffic through the Village are restricted between 10:00 and 16:00 hours.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and information relating to the scheme will be available at: www.dlrcoco.ie/monkstown

Loughlinstown Drive, Loughlinstown *** Road restoration works will commence on Monday, 6th November 2017 until Friday, 22nd December 2017 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. (part of) - close proximity to Wyattville Road Junction and between 8:00 and 18:00 hrs. – all other works.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Merville Road, Stillorgan ** Pipe replacement works will take place on Merville Road from Thursday, 28th November 2017 until Thursday, 21st December 2017 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation

Ballinclea Heights, Killiney ** Road repairs will commence on Ballinclea Heights during the week commencing Monday 4th December 2017 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. for 2 weeks.

A 4-Way Stop / Go System will be in place.

Monaloe Park Road, Cabinteely ** Road Restoration and associated works will be undertaken on Monaloe Park Road during the week commencing Monday, 27th November 2017 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. for a period of 3 weeks.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Public Lighting Lantern and Bracket Upgrade Works ** Public lighting lantern and bracket upgrade works will take place on: 1. Kilmacud Road Upper 2. Sandyford Road 3. Deansgrange Road 4. Clonkeen Road 5. Blackthorn Drive 6. Kill Lane/Avenue 7. Enniskerry Road 8. Clonskeagh Road 9. Leopardstown Road 10. Woodside Road 11. Kilmacud Road Lower 12. Cornelscourt Hill These works will continue until Friday, 22nd December 2017.

A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation as required.
