Harbour2Harbour Walk on St. Patrick’s Day *** The 13th Annual Aware Harbour2Harbour Walk will take place on St. Patrick’s Day. The walk will see up to 2,000 people walk from Dún Laoghaire to Howth Harbour or reverse, to raise funds for mental health organisation Aware. No road closures or traffic restrictions are in place, public footpaths will be used by participants at all times. Participants will begin the walk from their chosen start point (Dún Laoghaire or Howth) from 10am and all will have arrived to their final destination by 5.30pm latest.

Section 75, Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Monkstown Roundabout, Stradbrook Road (part of), Abbey Road, Monkstown Avenue, Link Road Deansgrange Road (Night works) Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application to close Monkstown Roundabout, Stradbrook Road (part of), Abbey Road, Monkstown Avenue, Link Road Deansgrange Road between the hours of 7pm and 6am from Monday 26th March to Sunday 8th April 2018 inclusive, in order to facilitate road restoration works by the Roads Maintenance Section, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. The proposed diversion routes are via Deansgrange Road – Kill Lane – Kill Avenue – Mounttown Road Lower – Mounttown Road Upper and Carrickbrennan Road – Monkstown Road – Stradbrook Road – Deansgrange Road.
