Nutgrove Fire Station Open Day – Saturday, 28th April 2018 between 1pm and 4pm, please expect delays around the roads adjacent to the Fire Station.

PROPOSED ROAD CLOSURE

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 » Red Bull Flugtag Dublin Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council is proposing to temporarily close the Queens Road and Park Road on Sunday 20th May, 2018 between the hours of 11.30am and 5.30pm in order to facilitate the Red Bull Flugtag Event.

Queen’s Road will be closed from the junction with Marine Road to the junction with Park Road.

Park Road will be closed from the Junction with Queen’s Road to the junction with George’s Street Upper.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and diversions will be signposted.

Any interested parties may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire or email traffic@dlrcoco.ie. not later than noon on Tuesday 8th May, 2018.

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Benildus Avenue, Sandyford St. Benildus College has requested the temporary closure of Benildus Avenue, Sandyford.

The closure is to be from 7.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. on Friday 18th May, 2018.

The purpose of the proposed closure is to facilitate Rás Benildus.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and all diversions will be signposted.

Diversion of traffic will be via Drummartin Link Road, Blackthorn Drive and Blackthorn Avenue and vice versa.

Emergency access can be provided, if required, during the period of the Road Closure.

Any interested party may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire not later than noon on Friday 4th May, 2018 or e-mail to traffic@dlrcoco.ie

ROAD CLOSURES

Section 75, Roads Act, 1993 Extension of Temporary (Periodic) Road Closure, Kelly’s Avenue, Dún Laoghaire Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from John Sisk and Sons (Holdings) Ltd), Wilton Works, Naas Road, Dublin 22, to extend the temporary closure of Kelly’s Avenue, Dún Laoghaire, from its junction with George’s Place to its junction with Crofton Road to through traffic until Tuesday 12th June, 2018.

The road will not be closed continuously during this period. Closures will be periodic and residents will be notified at least three days in advance in each instance.

The purpose of the closure is to facilitate works relating to the new Rapid Delivery housing development at George’s Place, Dún Laoghaire.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be clearly signposted.

Local Access will be maintained at all times.

R118 / Wyattville Dual Carriageway, Cherrywood *** (Night Works)

Road re-surfacing works will be undertaken on 3 nights - Monday, 30th April, Tuesday, 1st May and Thursday, 3rd May from 19:00 hrs to 07:00 hrs on the out-bound traffic lanes between the Wyattville Link Road / Tullyvale Road Junction and the M50 Motorway.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.

Monkstown Avenue & Deansgrange Link Road **

Road patching on Monkstown Avenue and Deansgrange Link Road for two days on Thursday and Friday 3rd and 4th May 2018.

There will be a Stop & Go Traffic Management System in place between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

N11 – Northbound between the Clonkeen and Johnstown Junctions **

Public lighting column and lantern upgrade works will continue until Friday 27th July 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. and 19:30 – Midnight (if required).

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the work.

N11 – Southbound between the Clonkeen and Johnstown Junctions **

Public lighting column and lantern upgrade works will continue until Friday, 27 July 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. and 19:30 – Midnight (if required).

Site surveying and underground utility surveying works will commence on Monday, 30th April 2018 until Tuesday, 8th May 2018 between 08:00 and 17:30 hrs.

Also commencing Thursday night – 3rd May 2018 and Friday night - 4th May 2018 between 20:00 and 06:00 hrs.

One Lane Closure required for night work only.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place during lane closures.

Landscape Road, Churchtown *

Works will commence on the construction of new kerblines and off street parking bays on the North of Landscape Road on Monday, 30th April 2018 until Friday, 11th May 2018.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place for the duration of the works.

Footpath repairs will continue until Friday, 11th May 2018 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs.

Two trial holes will commence on Monday, 30th April 2018 until Friday, 4th May 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

Two trial holes will commence on Monday, 30th April 2018 until Friday, 4th May 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

» Furze Road, Sandyford Industrial Estate, off Blackthorn Road * Two trial holes will commence on Monday, 30th April 2018 until Friday, 4th May 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

Windsor Terrace – Dún Laoghaire Baths Redevelopment *** Construction will commence on the redevelopment of the Baths site on Monday 23rd April 2018. Construction is programmed to be completed by Q1 2020. Works will be required on the sea side path of Windsor Terrace between Park Road and the car park to facilitate the installation of ducting and the erection of the hoarding.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of these works and lane restrictions will be between 10:00-16:00 hrs. Monday – Friday for approximately 6 weeks.

Once these works are completed the construction will be confined within the site.

Grange Road, Ballinteer ** Ducting and cable laying works will continue into the week commencing Monday, 30th April 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. and 18:00 – 23:00 hrs. (if required).

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the work.

Public Lighting Lantern and Bracket Upgrade Works ** Public lighting lantern and bracket upgrade works will take place on: 1. Kilmacud Road Upper 2. Deansgrange Road 3. Clonkeen Road 4. Blackthorn Drive 5. Kill Lane/Avenue 6. Clonskeagh Road 7. Leopardstown Road 8. Kilmacud Road Lower 9. Cornelscourt Hill 10. Avoca Ave 11. Monkstown Ring Road.

12. Stradbrook Road These works will continue until Friday, 21st December 2018.

A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation as required.
