Cherrywood Family Fun Day – Sunday, 16th September 2018 **

As part of a Cherrywood Family Fun Day in Cherrywood Business Park, Hines Limited are organising a 5K Race within their property, with a short section of the race taking place along the southern section of Laughanstown Lane. The 5K Race will start at 12 noon and should be finished at 1pm. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place on Laughanstown Lane.

PROPOSED ROAD CLOSURE

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Tivoli Terrace East, Dún Laoghaire Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from D & S Higgins Construction Ltd, 4A Bailelease Mall, Donabate, Dublin, to temporarily close Tivoli Terrace, Dún Laoghaire from the junction of Tivoli Terrace South to the junction of Tivoli Terrace North from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m on Monday 8th October, 2018 to Thursday 11th October 2018 inclusive, in order to dismantle a crane. The proposed diversions routes will be signposted. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and local access will be maintained. Page 1 of 6

Section 75, Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Roads within Sandyford Business District to facilitate the 2018 Spirit Sandyford 5K Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from Dundrum South Dublin Athletic Club, in association with Sandyford Business District Association, for partial to full closure of a number of roads within Sandyford Business District on Thursday 27th September 2018, to facilitate the ‘2018 Spirit Sandyford 5K’. The Start Time of the Race is 7.30 p.m. It is envisaged that the roads will be closed at 7.15 p.m. and will remain closed until after the completion of the race at 8.30 p.m. The Roads affected are as follows: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.

Section 75, Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Military Road, Killiney Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from Gas Networks Ireland to temporarily close Military Road, Killiney from the junction of Church Road and Shanganagh Road to the junction with Killiney Hill Road from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. from Thursday 4th October, 2018 to Friday 5th October, 2018 inclusive, in order to facilitate a gas connection. The proposed diversions routes will be signposted. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and local access will be maintained. ROAD CLOSURES Section 75, Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Brookfield Place, Blackrock Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has made an order to close Brookfield Place, Blackrock where it intersects Brookfield Terrace to through traffic on Monday 17th September, 2018 to Tuesday 18th September, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate a gas connection. The proposed diversion route will be signposted and details of the plan will be available on our website www.dlrcoco.ie. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be clearly signposted.

Section 75, Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Monkstown Road, Clifton Lane Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has made an order to close Monkstown Road from Monkstown Village to the junction with Temple Hill Road from: Tuesday, 7thAugust 2018 to Tuesday, 30th October 2018. However, it is not anticipated that the works will extend beyond the end of September 2018. The closure is to facilitate Road/Footpath restoration and associated works on Monkstown Road and Clifton Lane. Diversion routes will be via N31 (Old Dunleary Road, Longford Terrace, Seapoint Avenue) and York Road, Mounttown Road Upper, Monkstown Avenue, Stradbrook Road, Frascati Road. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and local access will be maintained.

ROADWORKS / LANE RESTRICTIONS

Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock ***

Road surface and footpath restoration works (Phase 1) will commence on Monday, 17 th September 2018 for 4-weeks between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and local access will be maintained.

Mount Merrion Avenue, Blackrock **

Public lighting maintenance works will commence on Monday, 17th September 2018 until Friday, 21st September 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the work.

Brookfield Place, Blackrock **

Gas main installation works will commence on Monday, 17th September 2018 and Tuesday, 18th September 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place.

Crofton Road, Dún Laoghaire *

Installation of a public lighting column and associated works (on the green space on Crofton Road) will commence on Monday, 17th September 2018 until Friday, 28th September 2018. (intermittent) between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the work.

Lower Kilmacud Road *** at the junctions of South Avenue and Upper Kilmacud Road Upgrade of existing junctions commenced on Monday, 3rd September 2018. Permanent Traffic Management is in place until the end of November. Any lane restrictions required will be in place from 10:00 to 16:00 hrs. daily.

Queen’s Road, Dún Laoghaire – between East Pier and Park Road *** Footpath Restoration works will continue until Friday, 21st September 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Monkstown Road – Road Closure *** Road/Footpath Restoration and associated works commenced on Tuesday, 7th August 2018 until Friday, 28th September 2018 between 08:00 and 19:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan and signed detours will be in operation and local access will be maintained. Page 4 of 6


Windsor Terrace – Dún Laoghaire Baths Redevelopment *** Construction commenced on the redevelopment of the Baths site on Monday, 23rd April 2018. Construction is programmed to be completed by Q1 2020. During September, the new pier construction will progress. There should be no Traffic Management restrictions on Windsor Terrace with the exception of the delivery of materials, which will be short term and between 10:00-16:00 hrs. Monday – Friday.

Sallynoggin Village – Sallynoggin Road / Pearse Street / O’Rourke Park ** Junction upgrade commenced Monday, 7th August 2018 until Friday, 21st September 2018 between 9:30 and 16:30 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

N11 – Northbound between Bray Road Junction and Westminster Junction ** Public lighting column and lantern upgrade works commenced on Monday, 23rd July 2018 until Friday, 28th September 2018 (intermittent). Work will be carried out between the hours of 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. and 19:30 – Midnight (if required). A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the work.

N11 – Southbound between Westminster Road Junction and Bray Road Junction ** Public lighting column and lantern upgrade works commenced on Monday, 23rd July 2018 until Friday, 28th September 2018 (intermittent). Work will be carried out between the hours of 10:00 - 16:00 and 19:30 – Midnight (if required). A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the work.

Public Lighting Lantern and Bracket Upgrade Works ** Public lighting lantern and bracket upgrade works will take place on: 1. Kilmacud Road Upper 2. Deansgrange Road 3. Blackthorn Drive 4. Kill Lane/Avenue 5. Clonskeagh Road 6. Leopardstown Road 7. Kilmacud Road Lower 8. Cornelscourt Hill 9. Avoca Ave 10. Monkstown Ring Road 11. Stradbrook Road 12. Sallynoggin Road Page 5 of 6
