PROPOSED ROAD CLOSURE

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Gort na Mona Drive, Cornelscourt, Dublin 18 Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council has received an application from Gas Networks Ireland to temporarily close Gort Na Mona Drive from the junction of Kerrymount Rise and the junction of Cornelscourt Hill Road from 09.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. from Tuesday 20 th November, 2018 to Wednesday 21st November, 2018 inclusive, in order to facilitate a gas connection.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and local access will be maintained.

Any interested party may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire or email info@dlrcoco.ie on or before noon on Thursday 8th November, 2018.

ROAD CLOSURES

Section 75, Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Monkstown Road, Clifton Lane Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has made an order to close Monkstown Road from Monkstown Village to the junction with Temple Hill Road from: Tuesday, 7thAugust 2018 to Friday, 9th November 2018.

The closure is to facilitate Road/Footpath restoration and associated works on Monkstown Road and Clifton Lane.

Diversion routes will be via N31 (Old Dunleary Road, Longford Terrace, Seapoint Avenue) and York Road, Mounttown Road Upper, Monkstown Avenue, Stradbrook Road, Frascati Road.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and local access will be maintained.

Monkstown Road will be reopened earlier, if progress with the works allows.

Glenamuck Road South – at Inglenook Wood housing development **

Resurfacing of Glenamuck Road South at Inglenook Wood housing development will commence on Monday, 5th November 2018 for one day between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in place.

Stillorgan Road - at the junction with Greenfield Road ***

To facilitate the installation of a new bus stop on the Stillorgan Road at the junction with Greenfield Road. Intermittent closures of the bus lane will occur to facilitate construction works from Monday 22nd October to Friday 30th November, 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place.

New island construction works will commence on Monday, 5th November 2018 until Friday, 9th November 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

Gas main installation works will commence on Monday, 5th November 2018 for one day between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

Gas main installation works will commence on Thursday, 8th November 2018 for one day between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

Excavation works to install a two-way duct will commence on Monday, 5th November 2018 until Friday, 30th November between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

Thornfield Road, Blackrock **

Water main rehabilitation works will commence on Monday, 5th November 2018 until Tuesday, 18th December 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Drainage connection works will commence on Wednesday, 7th November 2018 until Friday, 9th November between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Lower Kilmacud Road *** at the junctions of South Avenue and Upper Kilmacud Road

Upgrade of existing junctions commenced on Monday, 3rd September 2018.

Permanent Traffic Management is in place until the end of November.

Any lane restrictions required will be in place from 10:00 to 16:00 hrs. daily.

Stop/Go in operation at the junction from 8am until 8pm on Saturday 3rd November 2018. Delays expected.

Monkstown Road – Road Closure *** Road/Footpath Restoration and associated works will continue until Friday, 9th November 2018 between 08:00 and 19:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan and signed detours will be in operation and local access will be maintained.

N11 - Stillorgan Road – between Foster’s Avenue and UCD ** Slit Trenches on the N11 Inbound, between Fosters Avenue and UCD commenced on Monday, 22nd October 2018 until Friday, 9th November 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. in the grass verge / bus lane.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place.

N11 – Northbound between Knocksinna and Westminster Junctions ** Public lighting column and lantern upgrade works will continue until Friday, 23rd November 2018. Work will be carried out between the hours of 10:00 - 16:00 hrs. and 19:30 – Midnight (if required).

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the work.

N11 – Southbound between Knocksinna and Westminster Junctions ** Public lighting column and lantern upgrade works will continue until Friday, 23rd November 2018. Work will be carried out between the hours of 10:00 - 16:00 and 19:30 – Midnight (if required).

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the work.

Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock *** Road surface and footpath restoration works (Phase 1) will continue until Friday, 9 th November 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and local access will be maintained.

Windsor Terrace – Dún Laoghaire Baths Redevelopment *** Construction commenced on the redevelopment of the Baths site on Monday, 23rd April 2018. Construction is programmed to be completed by Q1 2020.

During October, the core of the pier construction will be completed. Works to the shelter will commence. Demolition will be completed and internal construction of the building will commence. There should be no Traffic Management restrictions on Windsor Terrace with the exception of the delivery of materials, which will be short term and between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. Monday – Friday.

Belarmine, Stepaside ** Gas main installation works commenced on Wednesday, 3rd October 2018 for 6 weeks between 09:30 and 16:30 hrs.

A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in place.

Public Lighting Lantern and Bracket Upgrade Works ** Public lighting lantern and bracket upgrade works will take place on: 1. Glenageary Road Lower 2. Deansgrange Road 3. Blackthorn Drive 4. Pearse Park-Estate 5. Clonskeagh Road 6. Leopardstown Road 7. Kilmacud Road Lower 8. Cornelscourt Hill 9. Avoca Ave 10. Monkstown Ring Road 11. Stradbrook Road 12. Sandyford Road These works will continue until Friday, 21st December 2018.

A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation as required.
