ROAD CLOSURES
Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Gort na Mona Drive, Cornelscourt, Dublin 18 Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has made an order to temporarily close Gort na Mona Drive from the junction of Kerrymount Rise and the junction of Cornelscourt Hill Road from 09.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. from Tuesday 20th November, 2018 to Wednesday 21st November, 2018 inclusive, in order to facilitate a gas connection. Belarmine, Stepaside **
Gas main installation works will commence on Monday, 19th November 2018 until Friday, 23rd November 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in place.
Bird Avenue, Clonskeagh * Minor water main repair works will continue on Bird Avenue, Clonskeagh, near the junction with ‘The Maples’. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place.
Stillorgan Road - at the junction with Greenfield Road *** To facilitate the installation of a new bus stop on the Stillorgan Road at the junction with Greenfield Road. Intermittent closures of the bus lane will occur to facilitate construction works from Monday 22nd October to Friday 30th November, 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place.
Beech Hill Road, Clonskeagh – from entrance to Smurfit Kappa ** Excavation works to install a two-way duct will continue until Friday, 30th November 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
Thornhill Road, Blackrock ** Water main rehabilitation works will continue until Tuesday, 18th December 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
Lower Kilmacud Road *** at the junctions of South Avenue and Upper Kilmacud Road Upgrade of existing junctions commenced on Monday, 3rd September 2018. Permanent Traffic Management is in place until February 2019. Any lane restrictions required will be in place from 10:00 to 16:00 hrs. daily. Page 3 of 5
Monkstown Road – Road Closure (as required) *** Road/footpath restoration and associated works will continue until Friday, 23rd November 2018 between 08:00 and 19:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan and signed detours will be in operation and local access will be maintained.
N11 – Northbound between Knocksinna and Westminster Junctions ** Public lighting column and lantern upgrade works will continue until Friday, 23rd November 2018. Work will be carried out between the hours of 10:00 - 16:00 hrs. and 19:30 – Midnight (if required). A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the work.
N11 – Southbound between Knocksinna and Westminster Junctions ** Public lighting column and lantern upgrade works will continue until Friday, 23rd November 2018. Work will be carried out between the hours of 10:00 - 16:00 and 19:30 – Midnight (if required). A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the work.
Windsor Terrace – Dún Laoghaire Baths Redevelopment *** Construction commenced on the redevelopment of the Baths site on Monday, 23rd April 2018. Construction is programmed to be completed by Q1 2020. During November, the core of the pier construction will be completed. Works to the shelter will commence. Demolition will be completed and internal construction of the building will commence. There should be no Traffic Management restrictions on Windsor Terrace with the exception of the delivery of materials, which will be short term and between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. Monday – Friday.
