Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Clifton Lane, Brighton Avenue and Drayton Close, Monkstown
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Roads Maintenance Section has requested the temporary closure of: Clifton Lane from its junction with Clifton Avenue from – 7th January, 2019 to 1st February, 2019, Brighton Avenue from its junction with Monkstown Road and Seapoint Avenue from - 16th January, 2019 to 22nd February, 2019 and Drayton Close from its junction with Monkstown Road from – 28th January, 2019 to 8th February, 2019. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and local access will be maintained at all times and diversion routes will be clearly signposted. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate road restoration and associated works. Any interested party may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire, Co. Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of South Avenue, Mount Merrion
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council propose to temporarily close South Avenue at the junction of Kilmacud Road Lower from Wednesday, January 2nd 2019 to Friday January 5th, inclusive. The closure is to facilitate road reconstruction works by Clonmel Enterprises on behalf of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council. The proposed diversion route is via Trees Road Upper – Redesdale Road – Lower Kilmacud Road and vice versa. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and local access will be maintained. Any interested party may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin or email info@dlrcoco.ie on or before noon on Wednesday 12th December, 2018.

Stillorgan Road - at the junction with Greenfield Road ***
To facilitate the installation of a new bus stop on the Stillorgan Road at the junction with Greenfield Road. Intermittent closures of the bus lane will occur to facilitate construction works from Monday, 22nd October to Friday, 21st December 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place with no vehicular traffic restrictions during December.

Monkstown Road (Open) **
Minor Footpath Restoration and associated works will continue during week commencing Monday, 26th November 2018 at Bus Stop No. 3037 (outbound side) between Alma Road and Eaton Square (between 08:00 and 19:00 hrs.)
Montpellier Parade Junction 2 (inbound side) (between 08:00 and 19:00 hrs.) Temple Hill Junction (inbound side) (between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.) A Traffic Management Plan and Lane Restrictions will be in operation
Local access will be maintained at all times.

Windsor Terrace – Dún Laoghaire Baths Redevelopment **
Construction commenced on the redevelopment of the Baths site on Monday, 23rd April 2018. Construction is programmed to be completed by Q1 2020. During December, pier construction will continue, works to the shelter will continue, internal construction of the building will continue. There should be no Traffic Management restrictions on Windsor Terrace with the exception of the delivery of materials, which will be short term and between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. Monday – Friday.
Lower Kilmacud Road *** at the junctions of South Avenue and Upper Kilmacud Road Upgrade of existing junctions commenced on Monday, 3rd September 2018. Permanent Traffic Management is in place until February 2019. There will be no traffic restrictions during the month of December.
Queen’s Park, Monkstown ** Restoration works will commence on Queen’s Park during week commencing Monday, 26th November 2018 to week ending 14th December 2018 between 08:00 and 19:00 hrs. Works include CCTV Survey, drainage repairs and incidental footpath repairs. Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and Local access will be maintained at all times.
Rathsallagh Park, Shankill ** Restoration works will commence on Rathsallagh Park during week commencing Monday, 26th November 2018 to week ending 7th December 2018 between 08:00 and 19:00 hrs. Works include CCTV Survey, drainage repairs and road surface restoration (part off). Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and Local access will be maintained at all times.

Brighton Vale, Monkstown **
Road surface and footpath restoration works will commence on Monday, 26 th November 2018 for four weeks between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and there will be restricted access for the duration of the work. Local and pedestrian access will be maintained as much as possible.

Thornhill Road, Blackrock ** Water main rehabilitation works will continue until Tuesday, 18th December 2018 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
Public Lighting Lantern and Bracket Upgrade Works ** Public lighting lantern and bracket upgrade works will take place on: 1. Glenageary Road Lower 2. Deansgrange Road 3. Blackthorn Drive 4. Pearse Park-Estate 5. Clonskeagh Road 6. Leopardstown Road 7. Kilmacud Road Lower 8. Cornelscourt Hill 9. Avoca Ave 10. Monkstown Ring Road 11. Stradbrook Road 12. Sandyford Road These works will continue until Friday, 21st December 2018. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation as required.
