Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Main Street, Blackrock
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from Blackrock Business Network to temporarily close Main Street, Blackrock from its junction with Bath Place to traffic lights at Temple Road and Carysfort Avenue, Blackrock to through traffic on Sunday 17th March, 2019 from 12 noon to 3.30 p.m. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate St. Patrick’s Day festivities for the local community including a road race. The proposed diversion route will be signposted and details of the plan will be available on our website www.dlrcoco.ie. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be clearly signposted. Any interested parties may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire not later than noon on: Friday 1st March, 2019 or email info@dlrcoco.ie.

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Callaghan’s Lane, Dún Laoghaire
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council proposes to temporarily close Callaghan’s Lane (from its junction with George’s Street Lower to its junction with Bentley Villas) through traffic from Monday, 18th February 2019 to Friday, 1st March 2019 both dates inclusive. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate road restoration works and associated works. This work will be done on a phased basis which will allow local access to residents for the full duration of the works. The proposed diversion route will be signposted and further details will be available on our website. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of these works. Any interested parties may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire or email info@dlrcoco.ie not later than noon on Monday, 4th February 2019.
ROAD CLOSURES
Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Clifton Lane, Brighton Avenue and Drayton Close, Monkstown Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Roads Maintenance Section has made an order to temporarily close: Clifton Lane from its junction with Clifton Avenue from – 7th January, 2019 to 1st February, 2019, Brighton Avenue from its junction with Monkstown Road and Seapoint Avenue from - 16th January, 2019 to 22nd February, 2019 and Drayton Close from its junction with Monkstown Road from – 28th January, 2019 to 8th February, 2019. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and local access will be maintained at all times and diversion routes will be clearly signposted. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate road restoration and associated works.

Maretimo Gardens West *
Road reconstruction/resurfacing works to Maretimo Gardens West cul-de-sac will commence on Monday, 4th February 2019 until Tuesday, 5th February 2019. There will be a Stop / Go Traffic Management System in place during construction works.

Lower Kilmacud Road *** at the junctions of South Avenue and Upper Kilmacud Road (Night works)
Upgrade of existing junctions commenced on Monday, 3rd September 2018. Permanent Traffic Management is in place until February 2019. Road resurfacing works to take place on Monday, 4th February 2019 until Friday, 8th February 2019 on Lower Kilmacud Road.

Taney Road, Dundrum ***
Traffic lights at the junction of Taney Park/Taney Drive will be turned off intermittently until Friday, 15th February 2019 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. The purpose of this is to facilitate the installation of a water connection to a housing development. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in place on Taney Road.

Junction of Grange Road and La Touche Court, Rathfarnham **
Road safety improvement works will continue at the junction of Grange Road and La Touche Court, Rathfarnham until Friday, 8th February 2019 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place.
Lower Kilmacud Road, Old Dublin Road, Allen Park Road ** Water main construction works commenced on Monday, 14th January 2019 and will continue until Sunday, 14th April 2019 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Killiney Avenue at the junction of Killiney Heath ** Junction upgrade works will commence on Monday, 21st January 2019 until Friday, 22nd February 2019. Works entail the construction of a mini-roundabout at the junction. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place for the duration of the works.
N11 – Inbound between Brewery Road and Newtownpark Avenue Junctions ** Upgrading of public lighting columns and lanterns will commence on Monday, 28th January 2019 until Friday, 31st May 2019 (intermittent). Working hours 10:00 – 16:00 and 19:30 – Midnight (if required). A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.
N11 – Outbound between Brewery Road and Newtownpark Avenue Junctions ** Upgrading of public lighting columns and lanterns will commence on Monday, 28th January 2019 until Friday, 31st May 2019 (intermittent). Road Closure Brighton Avenue, Monkstown ** Restoration works will commence on Brighton Avenue during week commencing Monday, 21st January 2019 to week ending 8th February 2019 between 08:00 and 19:00 hrs. Works impacting on Monkstown Road and Seapoint Avenue (N311) will be undertaken between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. Works include surface restoration and associate works. Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and Local access will be maintained at all times. Page 4 of 5
Maple Avenue/Spruce Avenue/Holly Avenue/Rowan Avenue * Public lighting column, lantern and cabling upgrade works will take place between 7th January 2019 and 22nd March 2019. Working hours 09:00-16:00. (Night works if required). A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.
Windsor Terrace – Dún Laoghaire Baths Redevelopment ** Construction commenced on the redevelopment of the Baths site on Monday, 23rd April 2018. Construction is programmed to be completed by Q1 2020. During January, pier construction will continue, works to the shelter will continue, internal construction of the building will continue. There should be no Traffic Management restrictions on Windsor Terrace with the exception of the delivery of materials, which will be short term and between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. Monday – Friday.
Public Lighting Lantern and Bracket Upgrade Works ** Public lighting lantern and bracket upgrade works will take place on: 1. Glenageary Road Lower 2. Deansgrange Road 3. Blackthorn Drive 4. Pearse Park-Estate 5. Clonskeagh Road 6. Leopardstown Road 7. Kilmacud Road Lower 8. Cornelscourt Hill 9. Avoca Ave 10. Monkstown Ring Road 11. Stradbrook Road 12. Sandyford Road These works will continue until Friday, 29th March 2019. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation as required.
