Harbour2Harbour Walk on St. Patrick’s Day ***
The 14th Annual Aware Harbour2Harbour Walk will take place on St. Patrick’s Day. The walk will see up to 2,000 people walk from Dún Laoghaire to Howth Harbour or reverse, to raise funds for mental health organisation Aware. No road closures or traffic restrictions are in place, public footpaths will be used by participants at all times. Participants will begin the walk from their chosen start point (Dún Laoghaire or Howth) from 10am and all will have arrived to their final destination by 5.30pm latest.

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Enniskerry Road, Stepaside
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from the Stepaside Business Association for the temporary closure of a section of Enniskerry Road, from the junction with Burrow Road southwards through Stepaside Village to the junction with Glenamuck Road South from 1.30 p.m.to 6.00 p.m. on Sunday 17th March, 2019. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate a St. Patrick’s Day Parade and associated events in Stepaside Village. Page 1 of 5
Diversion of traffic will be via Hillcrest Road, Kilgobbin Road, Ballyogan Road and Glenamuck Road South and vice versa. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be clearly signposted. Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Main Street, Blackrock
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from Blackrock Business Network to temporarily close Main Street, Blackrock from its junction with Bath Place to traffic lights at Temple Road and Carysfort Avenue, Blackrock to through traffic on Sunday 17th March, 2019 from 12 noon to 3.30 p.m. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate St. Patrick’s Day festivities for the local community including a road race. The proposed diversion route will be signposted and details of the plan will be available on our website www.dlrcoco.ie. A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be clearly signposted. ROAD CLOSURES
Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Callaghan’s Lane, Dún Laoghaire Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has made an order to temporarily close Callaghan’s Lane (from its junction with George’s Street Lower to its junction with Bentley Villas) through traffic from Monday, 18th February 2019 to Friday, 1st March 2019 both dates inclusive. The purpose of the closure is to facilitate road restoration works and associated works. This work will be done on a phased basis which will allow local access to residents for the full duration of the works. The proposed diversion route will be signposted and further details will be available on our website. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of these works. Page 2 of 5

N11 Cabinteely (closure of bus lane – north bound carriageway only) ***
Works will commence on Tuesday, 26th February 2019 to construct a new signalised junction and construction of 135 m of new Druid’s Glen Road until autumn 2019. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Ballinclea Road **
Site ground investigation works will be undertaken on Ballinclea Road during week commencing Monday, 25th February 2019 until Friday, 1st March 2019 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of works.

Trimleston Gardens/Trimleston Park **
Road resurfacing works will commence to the roundabout at Trimleston Gardens /Trimleston Park on Tuesday, 26th February 2019 until Wednesday, 27th February 2019 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management System will be in place.

Public Lighting Lantern and Bracket Upgrade Works **
Public lighting lantern and bracket upgrade works will take place on: 1. Glenageary Road Lower 2. Deansgrange Road 3. Blackthorn Drive 4. Brewery Road. 5. Clonskeagh Road 6. Leopardstown Road 7. Glenageary Road upper 8. York Road, 9. Brennanstown Road. 10. Sandyford Business Park. These works will continue until Friday, 29th March 2019. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation as required.

Monkstown Road, Queen’s Park, Brighton Avenue and Clifton Lane, Monkstown **
Line marking, reinstatement and slagging works will continue until Friday, 1st March 2019 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.

Leopardstown Road *
Traffic Management System erected on the west bound footpath and cycle lane on Leopardstown Road will commence on Wednesday, 27th February 2019 until Friday, 1st March 2019 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. This is required to facilitate a drainage connection on Leopardstown Road. The Traffic Management will consist of a line of fencing and bollards which will maintain segregate work from the public/cyclists. A Traffic Management System will be in place.

Broadford Close/Broadford Road Junction *
Footpath restoration works will commence on Broadford Close/Broadford Road junction on Monday, 25th February 2019 until Tuesday, 26th February 2019 between 08:00 and 17:00 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management System will be in place.
Lower Kilmacud Road *** at the junctions of South Avenue and Upper Kilmacud Road Upgrade of existing junctions commenced on Monday, 3rd September 2018. Permanent Traffic Management is in place until end of February 2019.
Lower Kilmacud Road, Old Dublin Road, Allen Park Road ** Water main construction works commenced on Monday, 14th January 2019 and will continue until Sunday, 14th April 2019 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

N11 – Inbound between Brewery Road and Newtownpark Avenue Junctions ** Upgrading of public lighting columns and lanterns will commence on Monday, 28th January 2019 until Friday, 31st May 2019 (intermittent). Working hours 10:00 – 16:00 and 19:30 – Midnight (if required). A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.
N11 – Outbound between Brewery Road and Newtownpark Avenue Junctions ** Upgrading of public lighting columns and lanterns will commence on Monday, 28th January 2019 until Friday, 31st May 2019 (intermittent). Windsor Terrace – Dún Laoghaire Baths Redevelopment ** Construction commenced on the redevelopment of the Baths site on Monday, 23rd April 2018. Construction is programmed to be completed by Q1 2020. During February / March, pier construction and the internal construction of the building will continue. The retaining works to Queen’s Road will be completed and construction on a new sea wall will commence. There should be no Traffic Management restrictions on Windsor Terrace with the exception of the delivery of materials, which will be short term and between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. Monday – Friday.
Maple Avenue/Spruce Avenue/Holly Avenue/Rowan Avenue * Public lighting column, lantern and cabling upgrade works will take place between 7th January 2019 and 22nd March 2019. Working hours 09:00 - 16:00. (Night works if required). A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.
