Not only have Derwent Cottage kept their Outstanding rating for an incredible third time, newcomers Sadlers Place and Sheringham Avenue have joined them. Zest spoke to the teams to get the inside scoop on what it’s like to be Outstanding.

Kelly, as the Service Manager at Derwent Cottage, how did it feel to achieve an Outstanding rating for the third time in a row? “It was just amazing! Thank you to my staff, who put their heart and souls into providing the best possible care and support. The people we support are at the heart of what we do, we are a family and they come first no matter what.”

The inspector showed respect about being in the home of the people we support, and made the staff feel so comfortable.”
