Cruising the Greek Islands then offers a wonderful contrast and, as you sail through the sparkling waters of the Aegean, you have time to meet your fellow passengers, get to know the ship, and unwind into life on board.

As well as stunning natural beauty, the isles of Greece offer some of the most impressive sites from this region's rich history. On Delos, legendary birthplace of Apollo and the paramount religious sanctuary of the ancient Greek world, you can stroll along the Terrace of the Lions and explore the classic Doric Temple of the Delians.

heading north for high summer from southern spain to the north cape Sailing from Seville and along Europe’s Atlantic Coast, Aegean Odyssey makes stops in Lisbon – the grand ‘City of the Explorers,’ Oporto, for sampling delicious port wine, and Vigo, gateway to the extraordinary cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.

Then, following a tranquil cruise along the River Gironde, she berths in the centre of Bordeaux, a city rightly regarded as the wine capital of the world, producing some of the greatest vintages – the perfect opportunity to taste and learn about the vineyards.

Northward still, the ship puts in at historic La Rochelle and the delightful Channel Island of Guernsey. At the North Cape of Norway, the only land between you and the North Pole is a scattering of Arctic islands. This is nature at its most pristine and majestic, illuminated by 24 hours of sunlight at the height of summer. For the very first time in 2019, Voyages to Antiquity is featuring a programme sailing north from London to this remote and beautiful place, by way of the rugged Shetlands and some delightful Norwegian fjords and ports, including picturesque Bergen, Alesund and the spectacular, remote Lofoten Islands. The cruise concludes in charming Copenhagen.

Also for the first time, we will be offering a circuit of the Baltic Sea, taking in the highlights of some of Europe’s greatest maritime cities. Perhaps the highlight is St Petersburg, the mesmerising city of Peter the Great. Many cruise operators offer one or occasionally two days to appreciate its treasures; we spend three days there, exploring awe-inspiring royal palaces, world class collections of art and uniquely glorious architectural marvels such as the brightly-hued Church of the Spilled Blood.

the norwegian fjords Cruise from Copenhagen to the beautiful and dramatic coastline of Norway on the western border of Scandinavia, a captivating region famous for its intricate network of cliff-lined saltwater inlets (fjords) crisscrossing the landscape. These breathtaking waterways have long inspired artists and writers, including the 19th century Norwegian Romantic Adelsteen Normann, whose splendid paintings of the fjords were largely responsible for their popularity.

Aegean Odyssey cruises Sognefjord, Geirangerfjord and Hardangerfjord, and this programme also takes in the stunning Flam mountain railway, pretty Bergen and the Scottish capital, Edinburgh.

RIVIERAS, ISLANDS AND ANCIENT sites aegean odyssey heads south for autumn sunshine Having enjoyed the temperate climate of northern Europe during high summer, Aegean Odyssey then heads back south to the Mediterranean and the extraordinary civilisation of ancient Greece.

The programme begins with a journey from London to Lisbon including such unforgettable attractions as Paris, Bordeaux and Santiago de Compostela – and, taking advantage of the ship’s small size, river cruising along the Seine and the Gironde.

This is followed by a crossing of the “Middle Sea” from Lisbon to Rome on a voyage packed with highlights, from the jet-set resort towns of Monte Carlo and Portofino to the medieval splendour of Carcassonne and Avignon, the Renaissance treasures of Florence and Pisa to the Gothic majesty of Barcelona.

From the ancient wonderland and ‘Eternal City’ of Rome, she sails south for delightful Sorrento, the poignant, perfectly-preserved remains of Pompeii and Herculaneum, which perished in the same Vesuvius eruption in 79AD, the iconic Amalfi Coast and the great temples of Paestum.

After a visit to Urbino, birthplace of Raphael and one of the lesser-known artistic powerhouses of Italy, Aegean Odyssey skirts this storied coastline southeast to Croatia. In Split, the vast Palace of Diocletian, 3rd century Roman emperor, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in constant use, as it now comprises about half of the Old Town; its passageways housing myriad tiny shops, and the emperor’s mighty mausoleum now the Cathedral of St Domnius. A little further down the coast is Korcula, a characterful

island said to have been the birthplace of legendary explorer Marco Polo, and further still the stunning walled city of Dubrovnik, described by George Bernard Shaw as “paradise on Earth.” Indeed, it is hard to imagine any traveller becoming jaded by the city’s gleaming marble streets, Baroque buildings and charming, friendly people.

The advantages of Aegean Odyssey’s small size again become apparent as she cruises Montenegro’s dramatic and beautiful Kotor Bay, a deep-water fjord carving its way 32 kilometres through the Dinaric Alps.

celebrated guest speakers on board Find out more about the fascinating places you will visit Central to the Voyages to Antiquity cruise experience, 2-3 guest speakers accompany every departure. They may be academics, broadcasters, journalists, authors, politicians or even generals, but they will all be pre-eminent in their profession and expert in their field.

6-9 talks per cruise, 45 minutes each, is the norm, often focusing on history, archaeology, art and mythology, as you might expect, but also on more unusual subjects such as botany and viticulture. Talks are delivered in the Ambassador Lounge with a host of visual aids (music, video and high quality maps) and recorded so passengers can catch up at their leisure if they are not able to attend in person. These lectures are specifically designed to complement shore excursions, not simply repeat or pre-empt the insight presented by VTA’s excellent local guides.

MICHAEL SQUIRE Michael Squire is Reader in Classical Art and Archaeology at King’s College London. His PhD was awarded the Hellenic Society prize and he has held research fellowships and visiting professorships at numerous renowned universities.

His books and articles straddle the fields of Classics, archaeology, art history and aesthetics, and he has featured on programmes for BBC Radio 4, BBC television, the BBC World Service and ABC in Australia.

CHRIS WHITTON Chris is a graduate of St John’s College and Senior Lecturer in Classics at the University of Cambridge. He has been affiliated with many other institutions, has published books with Cambridge and Oxford University Presses and writes regularly for The Times Literary Supplement. His research focuses on the literature, history and culture of the Roman Empire, but his interests and expertise extend across the ancient Mediterranean world.

MARK SPENCER has always been fascinated by plants, growing his first hyacinth at the age of four. Originally a horticulturist, Mark trained at the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew with a particular interest in tropical ferns and alpine plants. He later studied botany at university and did a PhD in the evolution of aquatic fungi. After university, he worked as a field botanist for a regional conservation organisation, followed by 12 years as a senior botany curator at the Natural History Museum, London. Mark now is a consultant forensic botanist, public speaker and occasional radio and TV presenter. He has also joined the Arts Society as an accredited lecturer.

DR. NANCY WILKIE lecturer for the Archaeological Institute of America (AIA), is a distinguished archaeologist and professor. She is William H. Laird Professor of Classics, Anthropology and the Liberal Arts, Emerita, at Carleton College. Nancy has worked on archaeological projects in Greece, Egypt, and Nepal, authored more than 30 articles, and co-edited three books on archaeology. From 1998-2002 she served as President of the AIA. In April 2003, the President appointed Nancy to the Cultural Property Advisory Committee of the US State Department, on which she continues to serve. In April 2013 she was elected President of the US Committee of the Blue Shield, an organisation dedicated to the protection of cultural property in times of armed conflict.

NATALIA MURRAY Before being awarded her PhD at the Courtauld Institute of Art, Natalia read History of Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in St Petersburg and completed a PhD course at the Hermitage Museum. At present, she is a visiting lecturer at the Courtauld Institute of Art, a senior curator and the head of education at GRAD. In 2017, she curated a major exhibition Revolution. Russian Art. 1917-1932 at the Royal Academy of Arts in London.

ANDY BUNTON has been an obsessive wildlife enthusiast for as long as he can remember. Educated at Cambridge, Newcastle and Imperial College, he then embarked on a career in nature conservation. He has worked for local government, wildlife trusts, and, for 26 years, the RSPB in Scotland, the Southeast and the north of England, the latter as director. A highly experienced lecturer, Andy has accompanied more than 20 tours and cruises ranging from Costa Rica to the Philippines, Argentina to Svalbard. Now an Environmental Consultant, Andy is an enthusiastic traveller and leads wildlife groups worldwide.

LARA HOGG is a Teaching Associate at the University of Sheffield and an Honorary Research Associate at Cardiff University. She is an expert in the Early Medieval (Viking Age) Archaeology of the North Atlantic, with a special focus on domestic animals. In 2017 an exhibition based on her PhD research opened at the Reykjavik City Museum. Lara’s interest in the Early Medieval North Atlantic started when, as an undergraduate student, she accidentally found herself excavating a Viking Age farm site in Iceland in the shadow of the most active volcano in Iceland, Hekla.

She kept returning and in autumn 2012 moved to Iceland to continue her PhD research.

JOHN DUCKER wears two professional hats – the first as the actor ‘John Leeson,’ celebrating over 50 years in theatre, film and television, notably as the voice of Doctor Who’s robotic dog K9! The second as a longstanding member of the Association of Wine Educators and Circle of Wine Writers, and senior team tutor for The Wine Education Service in London. John loves to share his wine knowledge and passion with others and his quick-reference guide to food/wine matching, “Marriages Made in Heaven” will be available on board.

ROBIN CORMACK Robin is an art historian who works on Mediterranean art, particularly from Antiquity and Byzantium, but also from the Renaissance. He teaches in the Classics Faculty, University of Cambridge, and at the Universities of California at Los Angeles and Santa Barbara.

Robin has published books on Byzantine Art, and co-curated the Royal Academy exhibition, Byzantium 330-1453.

CAROLINE HOLMES is a Garden Historian of places, people and plants, and a consultant designer specialising in evoking historical, artistic and symbolic references ranging from the gardens surrounding Notre Dame-de-Calais to devising the planting for The Alnwick Garden’s ‘Poison Garden’. Caroline is also a broadcaster, author of 11 books, lecturer for The Arts Society, RHS and Road Scholar, and Course Director for the University of Cambridge’s ICE International Summer Programmes. She was a presenter of “Telling the Stories of England” and has co-presented many gardening shows for BBC television and radio.

DR STEVE KERSHAW is a Classics Tutor at the Oxford University Department for Continuing Education, Professor of the History of Art for the European Studies Programme of Rhodes College and The University of the South, and a lecturer for the V&A. Steve has spent much of the last 30 years travelling extensively in the world of the Greeks and Romans. He has recently published “A Brief Guide to the Greek Myths,” “A Brief Guide to Classical Civilisation,” “A Brief History of the Roman Empire,” and “A Brief History of Plato's Atlantis.”

NICK MORRISON is a music graduate and London Blue Badge Guide. A person looking down the stairs sees only the landings and the steps are invisible, but a person looking up sees only steps while the landings are invisible. from Kristiansand to bergen The architecture of Kristiansand’s traditional Kvadraturen Quarter is diverse and striking. GENERAL INFORMATION THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION AND VISAS All information provided below pertains to Canadian and US citizens only and is valid at the time of this printing, April 2018. All information regarding current visa and passport requirements can be found on Voyages to Antiquity’s website, ca.voyagestoantiquity.com.

Requirements for other nationalities can be obtained from the consulates of the countries to be visited on the specific cruise and land programme. It is each guest’s own responsibility to ensure that they have the required documentation prior to travel. Failure to produce the required documentation at embarkation may result in denied boarding and any expenses incurred as a result are not the responsibility of Voyages to Antiquity.

PASSPORTS A passport, valid for a minimum of 6 months after the last date of travel with Voyages to Antiquity is required for all cruise and land programmes. Special Note: Guests on itineraries which include calls to Arab countries and that may have an Israeli visa or entry stamp in their passport are strongly encouraged to obtain a new passport prior to travel. This is simply a recommendation and is not a requirement.

VISAS At time of printing, no visas for Canadian or US citizens are required to be purchased for the countries visited on these itineraries with the exception of the following: Albania and Russia Group visas are obtained by the ship on arrival in both Sarande and St Petersburg. However, passengers wishing to step ashore and explore St Petersburg independent of our included and optional excursions will need to obtain a full Russian tourist visa prior to travel and at their own cost.

At least 90 days prior to departure, we must have the following information relating to each passenger: full name (as it appears on passport), address, nationality, date and place of birth; plus passport number, expiration date and date and place of issue. Guests cannot be included in group visas if this information is not supplied by the required time.

PRIVACY POLICY Voyages to Antiquity requires all guests to provide full passport details, including addresses and next of kin information prior to issuance of final documentation. The personal information provided to the company is only shared as required by government regulations to the local authorities for the purposes of customs, visas, and immigration clearances. The information may also be shared with certain suppliers of your travel arrangements. It should be understood that when making your booking you agree to your personal information being passed on as described above. You may also receive marketing communications from Voyages to Antiquity unless you indicate otherwise.

SPECIAL NEEDS Please consider the following issues carefully prior to booking and discuss any concerns with your travel agent and Voyages to Antiquity before making your deposit. The cruises and land programmes featured include extensive sightseeing of ancient archaeological sites which involve walking on uneven surfaces, up and down multiple stairs, and require a certain level of fitness and mobility. A number of ports on the itineraries require disembarkation of the ship with the ship or local tenders. There is one cabin specifically designed for wheelchair use.

However, guests must bring their own collapsible wheelchair, dimensions of which must not exceed 66 centimetres wide. Motorized scooters of any kind are not able to be accommodated onboard Aegean Odyssey.

Guests that need to travel with medical apparatus including wheelchairs, portable CPAP’s, and orthopedic devices must advise Voyages to Antiquity, in writing, at the time of deposit.

Oxygen concentrators of any size are not permitted. A doctor’s statement of fitness may be required. All guests need to be self-sufficient and have an able-bodied guest traveling with them to take full responsibility for any assistance that is required. Important Notice: Failure to advise Voyages to Antiquity as required may result in denied boarding and no refunds are provided for such incidents.

HEALTH There is a fully equipped medical center staffed by a physician and licensed nurse for the benefit of both the guests and the crew. The medical center is primarily intended to provide acute care for illness and accidents that may occur while on vacation and is not intended to provide long term care for patients with chronic illnesses or as a substitute for regular health care. Charges apply for consultations, prescriptions, and cabin visits.

Guests that require regular treatments or testing of any kind during the cruise and land programme must advise Voyages to Antiquity at the time of deposit.

Voyages to Antiquity has the right to refuse or revoke passage to anyone who, in its judgment, is in a physical condition that is beyond the care that can be provided or made available.

DIETARY RESTRICTIONS Please advise us at the time of booking of any special dietary restrictions or specific food allergies.

Guests with specific food allergies must advise Voyages to Antiquity in writing at the time of deposit, and while all possible is done to meet the requirement(s), the guest is expected to exercise due caution when dining, either on board or during pre- or post-cruise land stays or on full-day excursions.

The ship can meet most general requests such as low cholesterol, diabetic, and salt- or fat-free.

While all dietary requests are provided to our local suppliers and hotels in advance Voyages to Antiquity cannot guarantee fulfillment on included meals at hotels or restaurants on preor post-cruise land stays or on full-day excursions.

SHORE EXCURSIONS AND LAND ARRANGEMENTS Shore Excursions: Included in each port of call where suitable; some excursions will be available at an additional cost. Descriptions of the tours will be sent with your final documents or made available on the Voyages to Antiquity website.

Lunches on full-day tours can be a picnic lunch provided by Aegean Odyssey or at a local restaurant. On some excursions, time for lunch will be provided in an area offering a wide choice of cafes and restaurants, and lunch is not included in order to leave the choice of menu up to you (such as in Rome, Florence and Urbino). Please note that these programmes are planned far in advance of your visit, and we reserve the right to change, cancel, or substitute an included excursion at any time.

SMOKING Smoking is only permitted on Belvedere Deck aft.

Smoking is prohibited in all other areas including cabins, balconies, and on excursion motorcoaches.

All included hotel rooms are requested by Voyages to Antiquity as non-smoking; however this is not always possible and Voyages to Antiquity cannot be held responsible if the guest’s preference is not available on arrival.

ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES Cabins and suites feature European 2-pin round outlets with 220 voltage. Hair dryers are provided in your cabin and electric rollers, curling irons, electric shavers, and other small appliances can be used. Adapters/converters are available on board for conversion to 110 volts if required; however, we recommend you bring your own in the event supplies are limited. For safety reasons, travel irons are not allowed.

LAUNDRY AND PRESSING Valet service is available for laundry and pressing.

A laundry bag and order form are provided in your cabin.

COMMUNICATIONS Aegean Odyssey is fitted with the latest satellite communication technology and direct dial telephones in all cabins. There is also an internet centre on Belvedere Deck and charges are based on connection time.

CHILDREN Voyages to Antiquity cruise programmes are destination focused and designed for adults.

There are no facilities for children on board Aegean Odyssey. We consider the cruises unsuitable for children under the age of twelve.

DINING ARRANGEMENTS Dining arrangements on Aegean Odyssey are flexible as both restaurants have an “openseating” policy with meal times arranged to suit the ship’s time in port and the shore excursion programs. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in the Terrace Café, while lunch and dinner only are available in the Marco Polo Restaurant. On days when full-day shore excursion tours are operated, lunch will only be available in either the Terrace Café or Marco Polo Restaurant.

Reservations can be made for dinner in the Marco Polo Restaurant.

CONSIDERATION FOR OTHERS We expect all guests to have consideration for other people. If, in our reasonable opinion, the behavior of any guest is likely to cause upset or distress to any third party or damage to property, the Company reserves the right, in extreme circumstances, to terminate that guest’s cruise and land programme without prior notice.

No refunds will be made and the Company will not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of the termination of the trip arrangements. The departure of the ship from any port will not be delayed for guests are who are not on board by the official departure time as advised by the ship.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS General The following provisions apply to the booking of your Cruise, or Cruise-Tour and are the terms and conditions that apply upon the acceptance of your deposit by Voyages to Antiquity. They also cover any hotel or air arrangements made on your behalf by Voyages to Antiquity. By making a reservation and paying your deposit you agree to be bound by the provisions contained herein and to accept the terms and conditions of the Voyages to Antiquity Passage Contract (cruise ticket), a copy of which may be obtained from your Travel Agent or from Voyages to Antiquity. The provisions herein contain important information on cancellation by the guest, changes in the itinerary, the limitations and exclusions of liability on the part of Voyages to Antiquity, the operator of the vessel and of independent contractors, the health and immigration requirements that are your responsibility, and other relevant terms and conditions.

Deposits and Payments A 10% deposit is required within 7 days of booking or sooner as noted on your confirmation invoice.

The final balance is due no later than 90 days prior to sailing. Guests who do not make required deposits or final payment at appropriate times are subject to automatic cancellation without notice.

Cancellation penalties as indicated on the invoice or as set forth in these Terms and Conditions apply (see Cancellation Policy). American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card, travel agency checks, and personal checks are accepted for deposits and final payments. Third party credit card charges can be accepted only when accompanied by valid authorization to charge from the relevant card owner.

Travel Protection We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive Trip Cancellation/Interruption Protection Plan for the full purchase price of the cruise as well as any air and/or land arrangement costs. Please contact your travel agent or Voyages to Antiquity for further information.

Cancellation Policy A full deposit refund is only made when cancellation notice is provided to Voyages to Antiquity no later than 120 days prior to the scheduled departure date.

Any refund of payments will only be made by the same method as received.

Changes to a Reservation Changes to a reservation at any time, including air and hotel arrangements confirmed by Voyages to Antiquity, may result in an assessment of administrative fees and service charges by the third party supplier(s) and is beyond the control of Voyages to Antiquity. Guests are responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result of these changes. Some changes, including name changes, may be considered cancellations and applicable fees will be assessed.

Itinerary Changes The cruise and tour programmes featured in this brochure are planned many months in advance.

Occasionally changes have to be made to the published itineraries both before and after bookings are confirmed as circumstances beyond the control of Voyages to Antiquity (force majeure), may require us to correct information in the brochure that appears by error or omission.

Most changes are minor but occasionally a “significant change” must be made. A “significant change” before departure is deemed to be a change to the initial embarkation or disembarkation port to a different geographical area or a change in the duration of your cruise and tour programme by more than 12 hours. Ports of call or timing changes in ports of call are not considered to be “significant changes.” Voyages to Antiquity shall have no

responsibility or liability for any loss, inconvenience, or expense incurred by guests as a result of any changes or cancellations whether or not the changes are a “significant change.” (See further terms relating to changes and cancellation found in the Passage Contract.) A cruise may be cancelled for reasons of “force majeure” (including but not limited to war, civil unrest, natural disasters, and adverse weather conditions) or in case a governmental organization issues a specific travel warning in the area where the cruise is to operate. We also reserve the right to cancel a cruise at any time up to ten weeks before sailing if we consider there are insufficient reservations for the cruise to be viable.

If a “significant change” or decision to cancel a cruise is made, you or your Travel Agent will be advised as soon as possible about any alternative arrangements available. You can choose to accept these arrangements or cancel with a full refund.

In the unlikely event that a “force majeure” event occurs or a travel warning is issued, after a cruise has started, Voyages to Antiquity shall not be liable to pay any compensation for any changes in itinerary or omitted ports of call or shortened or lengthened stays in any port or ports other than refunds received by our suppliers.

The ship’s captain is responsible for the safety of the ship, passengers, and crew and has absolute discretion in making any alterations to the itinerary that he considers necessary.

Independent Travel Arrangements Voyages to Antiquity is not responsible with regard to air or land travel or accommodation arrangements made using non-refundable, restricted travel or frequent flyer air tickets or frequent traveler hotel accommodations. This exclusion of liability includes the consequences of delays in the arrival at any airport, hotel, or port location that may occur when guests are using independently arranged air or land travel or when changes in travel arrangements may need to be made due to changes Voyages to Antiquity may make to the embarkation or disembarkation ports and the time of embarkation and disembarkation. The Passenger Ticket/Passage Contract contains full terms and conditions for these exclusions.

Final Travel Documentation Travel documents including any air tickets are issued only after passport details have been received and final payment has been made to Voyages to

Antiquity. In most cases the final documentation is sent no later than 30-21 days prior to scheduled departure. It is the responsibility of the guest to verify that the full name(s) on any cruise, land, or air arrangements and reservations are the same as listed on his/her passport. Voyages to Antiquity is not responsible for cancellation or pre-bookable fees imposed by any supplier due to incorrect names provided by the Travel Agent or guest.

Responsibility The responsibility of Voyages to Antiquity and the operator of the vessel is strictly limited according to the Terms and Conditions set forth in the Passage Contract that you receive prior to embarkation. You are urged to read the Passage Contract carefully. A sample is available to be mailed on request or can be viewed and printed from the Voyages to Antiquity website at any time. Transportation onboard the ship is provided solely by the ship operator and pursuant to the Passage Contract. Voyages to Antiquity reserves the right to accept or decline any person as a guest for any reason.

Voyages to Antiquity shall not be responsible for any act, event or omission during the time passengers are not aboard the Voyages to Antiquity vessel. Voyages to Antiquity acts only as an agent for the supplier of off-ship services such as airlines and other off-ship transportation carriers, meals, shore excursions, accommodations, air ambulance and shore-side physicians. Guests agree not to hold Voyages to Antiquity, its owners, agents or representatives liable for any loss, injury, expense or damage which results directly or indirectly from any act or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, of any third party person or firm which is to, or does provide goods or services in connection with the trip or any available option. Without limiting the foregoing, Voyages to Antiquity shall have no liability to

passengers for the quality of services at, and the condition, cleanliness or safety of a hotel, housing facility, or conveyance, or for any transportation delay, including but not limited to liability for inconvenience, shortened vacation time, additional expenses, or any other kind of damage. Voyages to Antiquity expressly disclaims all responsibility of any nature whatsoever for any loss, damage or injury to property or person resulting from air, rail, motorcoach or any other form of transportation other than that actually provided by the Voyages to Antiquity vessel.

Air Transportation Voyages to Antiquity does not operate, control or supervise any airlines and shall have no responsibility for carriers failing to meet schedules whether or not air tickets were issued by Voyages to Antiquity or its designated vendor. Voyages to Antiquity is not responsible for any expenses or consequences relating to air transportation and that result from causes including but not limited to inclement weather, strikes, flight cancellations, changes/delays in the ship’s schedule or a change/delay in schedule or routing made by a guest, travel agent or airlines.

Any changes, including early ticket issuance and cancellations, requested by a Travel Agent or a guest to a confirmed flight reservation or issued ticket will incur an administrative fee. Any additional costs incurred by Voyages to Antiquity including penalties are made at the guest’s expense. Any charges imposed by an air carrier to Voyages to Antiquity after an air reservation is confirmed due to provision of incorrect name(s), or increase in airline related fuel surcharges, will be added to the total cost of your cruise or Cruise-Tour. Airline tickets are only refundable to Voyages to Antiquity and the amount of any refund owing to the guest, is determined by Voyages to Antiquity.

Services provided by Independent Contractors All shore-side tours and services described in this brochure or on the website including air, hotel, transfers and excursions are provided by independent contractors. Voyages to Antiquity acts solely as ticketing agent for all shore-side activities and has no legal obligation or liability of any kind to guests for acts or omissions in connection with or arising out of arrangements with independent contractors, including but not limited to airline carriers, ground/tour operators, and hotels since they are neither agents for nor employees of Voyages to Antiquity.

Guests with Special Needs The cruise and tour programmes featured in this brochure include extensive sightseeing and to fully participate each guest must be reasonably fit and have no walking difficulties. Whenever possible Voyages to Antiquity will try to accommodate guests with special needs as long as the mobility issues are not an impediment to others on the guided tours.

Luggage Handling All luggage must conform to and will be handled in accordance with the regulations and restrictions of airlines, government security requirements, and third party suppliers. Individual Airline charges or fees relating to checked and carry-on luggage are the guests' responsibility. Applicable fees and charges can be found on each airline's website. Charges and fees relating to the carriage and handling of luggage excluding porterage at Voyages to Antiquity's included hotels or porterage at the pier and to/from the Voyages to Antiquity vessel are the guest's responsibility. Voyages to Antiquity reserves the right to search guest luggage at any time and to refuse any items that might be considered dangerous. All hand-carried luggage and personal effects are the responsibility of the guest at all times. Voyages to Antiquity is not responsible for the loss or damage to guest luggage. Luggage insurance is strongly recommended. Please refer to the Passenger Ticket/Passage Contract for the full details of the Voyages to Antiquity Luggage Policy.
