MORE THAN JUST A RESTAURANT, FIN & FEATHERS IS AN EXPERIENCE – A PLACE TO KICK BACK AND MEET UP WITH FRIENDS. A VIBE THAT STARTED IN THE HEART OF ATLANTA

The Black Foodie Crew decided to meet up one Sunday afternoon at the midtown location of Fin & Feathers. We met in the parking area across the street of the restaurant and entered the restaurant expecting the normal Atlanta brunch chaos. We found the restaurant to be moderately filled with the ringing of glasses and the scurrying of waiters and waitresses.

We were seated next to two gentlemen who were enjoying the DJ who, without a doubt, set the tone for Sunday Brunch. As we “chair danced” , Shontel, our waitress, came over, introduced herself, and took our order. As we patiently waited for our order, we sang along to the music, chatted with our brunch neighbors, and watched the many patrons start to file in – either on the patio or the VIP areas.

Brunch would not be brunch without the endless mimosas, of which we favored the pineapple mango. The wait for our order was brief and was served with a smile and a bubbly personality. Our waitress made sure that our meal and visit was pleasurable, checked on us and engaged us with laughter and small talk.

Fin & Feathers offers a fixed brunch menu featuring a tasty range of items of which we ordered the following:

Three grilled New Zealand Iamb chops, topped with a balsamic ginger sauce

Two eggs, breakfast potatoes, and a biscuit

Three whole wings, battered & fried to perfection, served with a buttermilk waffle topped with powder sugar, blueberries & strawberries

Salmon smothered in a well-seasoned garlic herb peppers served over cheese grits and topped with a creamy spicy parmesan sauce, and of course three pitchers of mimosas.

Fin & Feathers respected our reservation time, seated us quickly, food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fun! Fin & Feathers made The Black Foodie Crew list of “Must Visit” spots for brunch.

"Today's forecast: 100% chance of champagne.
