In the heart of our vibrant Valley Park Community, the annual Golden Club Breakfast is a shining example of unity, talent, and fun. This annual event, held in the Valley Park School District Field House, has become a cherished tradition that brings together our talented students and community members for a morning of delightful performances, delicious breakfast, and a celebration of the arts. This year's edition featured endearing acts by our third grade and early childhood students, as well as beautiful performances by the secondary choir and band students, creating a symphony of talent and community spirit.

Talented Hawks Secure Spots in Missouri State Solo and Ensemble Contest

Hats off to Elizabeth Papalotzi '24 on flute, Lana Feldman '25 on clarinet, and Jermisha Lewis '26 a soprano vocalist for securing their spots in the Missouri State Solo and Ensemble Contest with their outstanding solos. Look forward to their performances at the State Solo and Ensemble Festival hosted at Mizzou on Friday, April 26th. Best of luck to our Hawks!

Celebrating Academic Excellence: Valley Park Middle School Unveils Third Quarter Triple A Membership Achievements

The Lasting Impression Award honors SSD staff who positively impact students through support Congratulations to Dana Evans, SSD’s Lasting Impression award winner! outside the classroom. Social workers, therapists, bus drivers,

maintenance workers, specialists, and many more, contribute to each student’s experience in countless ways, leaving a lasting impression. This year's honorees reflect the vastness of this talented group and demonstrate that every job at SSD offers us the opportunity to be part of something special. Congratulations, Dana! You certainly leave a lasting impression on our students daily.

Limitless Learning Cohort #3 Announced!

On March 14th the Valley Park Middle School Third Quarter Triple A membership was unveiled! A total of 99 students showcased remarkable academic performance with As, Bs, and Cs on their report cards, alongside maintaining an impressive 95% attendance record without any detentions or suspensions! Each member was rewarded with their well-deserved t-shirt and a well deserved lunch of Chick-Fil-A for their hard work and perseverance. Congratulations to all!

We are excited to embark on the next leg of our three-year journey with the commencement of Cohort #3 in Project Based Learning (PBL), which was selected last month! Valley Park remains committed to delivering top-notch professional learning opportunities for PBL by collaborating with our esteemed partners at New Tech High School in Napa, California. The PBL professional development for Cohort 1 is nearing completion, while Cohort 2's journey continues. Coaching for these cohorts is provided by New Tech High, renowned for its innovative professional development, training, and support services tailored to educators, schools, and districts seeking to revolutionize their instructional approaches. Congratulations to Cohort #3!
