Voltage Sensitive Relay This relay charges two batteries at the same time with a single alternator. When the engine is switched on, the Voltage Sensitive Relay stays open until the starting battery reaches 13.7 volt and then closes the contact and charges the 2 batteries at the same time. When the engine stops and the voltage dop below 12.8 volt, the Voltage Sensitive Relay opens the contact and keeps the two batteries separated thus preventing the draining of the engine starter battery due to the use of onboard services. No voltage drop, zero consumption in stand by phase. Easy to install without modifying the alternator cabling.

This system combines a pure sine wave inverter and a sophisticated battery charger applying adjustable research technology. Compatible with lithium batteries. Two AC outlets. In case of power shortage from the dock or from the generator, the system continuously feeds what’s connected. The second outlet is available on case of AC source, only. The devices, such as boilers, which might run the battery down should be connected to this output. Parallel + three-phase function. Up to 6 units can be connected in parallel. For the three-phase current, 3 units of the same kind can be connected. Up to 6 series including 3 units each can be connected in parallel. Power control: the very powerful multiplus device can absorb a lot of power from the dock or the generator. VICTRON Cyrix-I dual battery charger By means of a micro-processor, this powerful relay automatically connects the batteries in parallel when one of them has reached the preset voltage and it split them when the voltage drops below the FLOATING level. Cryrix-I are an excellent option to diode separators since there’s no voltage drop. In the traditional installation, the alternator is directly connected to the starting battery. Service battery and bow propeller are combined with the starting battery by means of the Cryrix-I. When the Cryrix-I detects that the starting battery is charged, it will activate thus enabling the other batteries to charge in parallel. Which inverter to choose?

There are 2 types of inverter: A) Pure sine wave. In this inverter the current is regulated by a quarz-precision microprocessor. The result is a pure sine wave equal to the domestic net one. B) Modified sine wave. The voltage generates a square wave, whose frequency and width are stable, but not compatible with some appliances such as TVs, audio systems, noen or low-consumption lamps, pad coffee machines, electric toothbrushes, etc. Our catalogue only proposes pure sine wave inverters. They are more expensive but can be used for all applications. VICTRON Phoenix inverter, pure sine wave 180/800W Designed for professional applications, they use the Sinumax technology ensuring the necessary power but with limited weight and size.
