National Veterans Service Volunteer of the Year for the West Virginia State Elks Association
Each year each state recognizes a male and female volunteer of the year. These individuals are exemplars of our Mission to never forget those who have or continue to serve this great land of ours.

To be recognized for this prestigious award, nominations within the state must be submitted to the National Service Committee Chairman, Howard Boyd PSP, by the end of December.
All submissions are then graded based on their merit and service to determine the male and female best qualified to earn the award.
This year’s male and female winners are:
Stephen and Carley Barlow of Bluefield Lodge #269.
