Hello! I am NHEK Vuthyvadth. I was born in Cambodia. I am currently going major of Architecural Science. During my study I had the opportunity to do internship which was the beginn of exploring my skill and profession pratice, as well the same time to learn and grow Architecture is a passionate skill and interest for my whole adule life. The project requires students to design a Boat House for Water Festival event mainly to ease the loads and onload the boats. The water festival has been following by the Cambodian people since Angkorian Era. The racing is both at the junction which allowed easier access for many provinces. It’s a chance to show power of navy at the ancient time. In addition, people claim it is a thanksgiving to the Gods of Water and Earth for providing livelihood an welfare for the Cambodian people.

site location Site chosen was limited from edge of Royal Palace with Japanese bridge at both sites of rivers in order for boat crew to easily access to race course.

reasons Site was chosen was mainly because of 2 reasons. Acces point from site to many varies main natioal roads are eased for crew to access to the site. Site provides large space for circulating and ease the traffic while loads and unloads are in process Nationl Road 1 & 2

The public library aims to give easy access to knowledge to individuals, groups and all ages, whether disable or not. Beyond consulting one the spot or borrowing, visitors are given opportunities to practice and see temporary exhibitions and attend short courses or conference. The concept of UNITY can be expressed by feeling of inside out. In the building, courtyard is placed inside to make the inside feel outside. Similarly, through transparent glass, when being outside, can be felt inside.
