Dear Librarian, Welcome to our new catalogue featuring our latest releases from Clipper, Lamplight, Avid and Jammer Audiobooks. We’re extremely excited to present to you an incredible selection of Man Booker longlisted titles available from Clipper in this brochure. We have two of the most eagerly anticipated publications of 2014: Us by David Nicholls, his first novel since the runaway bestseller One Day; and The Bone Clocks by David Mitchell, one of Britain’s most exciting and experimental literary novelists. They are accompanied by J by Howard Jacobson, a futuristic novel from the previous winner of the Man Booker Prize, How to be Both by Ali Smith, The Dog by Joseph O’Neill and Orfeo by Richard Powers. Alongside these we also have many of the year’s most exciting thrillers, with titles from Simon Kernick, Harlan Coben and Val McDermid. Our non-fiction list celebrates the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo with an in-depth examination of the famous battle from Bernard Cornwell, the author of the Sharpe series. Avid is pleased to welcome two giants in the world of fantasy writing to the list. We have Prince of Fools by Mark Lawrence, the author described as ‘on a par with George R. R. Martin’ by Conn Iggulden. Also in this quarter is Robin Hobb’s new title, Fool’s Assassin, an epic about three once inseparable friends: Fitz, Nighteyes and the Fool.
