Chair Yoga For Seniors
Betty Marr - Recreation Center Chair Yoga is designed to meet the specific needs of seniors and is structured to benefit everyone at any level of health and fitness. Class will include a combination of stretching and breathing exercises designed to relieve stress, calm the mind and increase mobility, balance and body awareness. The yoga poses used are adapted for seniors and are done either standing or seated. Chairs will be provided to keep everyone safe and supported. There is no need to bring a yoga mat. No class 11/24.

MEET LLOYD!
After retiring from the Waukesha Fire Department in an effort to stay in shape, I started doing Zumba classes. I enjoyed the classes so much I decided to become a Zumba instructor and now Zumba has turned into a passion of mine. While I have other interests such as windsurfing, water and snow skiing, and motorcycling, nothing is as much fun as instructing a Zumba class and watching the enjoyment and smiles of others while getting a great workout to Latin music.

Can't make it every class of a session? Want to try out a few different classes to see what one you want to sign up for? Is your schedule unpredictable and you need the flexibility of dropping in when you can? The WAWM RCS Department has Adult Fitness Punch Passes! The pass ($25 residents/$40 non-residents) is good for 5 visits and is valid for one year after the purchase date. Passes are only sold in our office at 2450 S. 68th St. Monday-Thursday from 8am-5pm and Fridays from 8am-4pm. Please note: you will need to call our office before attending a class to make sure it is accepting passes and that it has not been moved or cancelled. If a class reaches full enrollment with registrations, passes will only be accepted on a space by space basis. This year, the need is greater than ever! Several instructors with MANY years experience will be leading a 90 minute playlist of Zumba® classics from over the years!
