Waad Nadhir

Waad acquired Uptown District Retail Center in 1994 on behalf of The BOSC Group. The property was 40% vacant and in a state of disrepair. He developed a new leasing strategy and upgraded the looks and layout of the property. He was able to secure Trader Joe’s to anchor a vacant wing of the property and also brought in several exciting restaurant concepts and made Uptown District one of the most successful projects in San Diego. This was one of the pioneer properties of mixed-use development in the area as the property had a mix of condominiums and live/work lofts.
