Helen Francom has always had fun with fashion and style. The Auntie Bling-Bling name came from her nieces. They gave her the nickname and she decided it would be the name of her first business venture.

wasn’t until the flapper communities of the 1920s formed that the movement truly started. With the creation of improved printing technology, the demand for professional artists who could interest a wide audience swiftly increased. Pin up art obtained progressively more mainstream exposure with the publication of Esquire magazine in the early 1930s. Pin ups tend to be looked at as females whose physical appeal would induce a person to “pin up” the graphic on a wall. Because Esquire usually incorporated artwork of the sex symbols of the time, the magazine’s
decor, along with a room, Helen has dubbed the "Man Cave," in which she has filled with western items, cool collectibles and original art that would appeal to most manly tastes. In addition, everything is priced low to sell quickly. Helen's daily motto, "Customer service beyond expectation," shines through with wholesome sincerity that more local stores should emulate. The motto, when applied,
can make a shopper feel special beyond what is common, or usual, or expected. Auntie Bling Bling's consignment store is a wonderful outlet to place items up for consignment in with a reasonable sales split. Word of mouth has spread quickly with consigners that Helen's store is the best resale venue in Utah Country, and it is one fun place to easily spend a few hours when shopping for treasures.

What do you do when you tear into your great grandmother’s attic and find a lot of old belongings? You may not be quite sure what some things are while others look extremely old. You could toss it all into a yard sale and collect as many pennies as possible for the old dusty junk, or you could whip out your antique price guide and determine if some of it may be worth more than that. Yes, having a yard sale to clear it out would be much faster and would give you some profit, but what
if you are selling something worth a couple hundred or even thousand dollars for a buck? That happens every single day to people who do not take the time to look into the history of older items to see if they have a greater
value. If you are interested in collecting antiques, then a good antique price guide should be the first tool you purchase for your hobby. This will prevent you from making costly mistakes or paying too much for replicas and
damaged goods that aren’t worth as much as you might think. Determining the value of antique goods is very difficult to do if you aren’t an expert. Depending on the type of antique you are looking at there will be different things to

This can happen for many different reasons, but to an untrained eye these reasons are very difficult to see. This is why so many valuables are sold for pennies at yard sales and beginning collectors pay much more than some items are actually worth.
Knowledge and a depth of history are extremely important when judging the value of antiques! Until you get to that expert level with a rich knowledge of the items you are analyzing, you need the help of a good antique price guide. However, you still need to analyze your chosen antique price guide with some care as well. There are some guides that just
base their prices on public record of what the items have sold for in auctions. While these estimated figures may be useful if you plan on purchasing items to sell in auctions, it is not an accurate way to judge the real value of an item. Auction items go for far more and far less than their actual value all the time! Find a guide that uses expert opinion to come up
with prices and you will make smarter buys as a collector. If you just have one or two items that you think may be worth something and you have no interest in collecting antiques you may not want to purchase an antique price guide. You could always take your items in for an expert opinion in that case, but if you have a lot of items in question that
would be extremely expensive. The best option in that case or if you are interested in collecting antiques is to purchase a high quality antique price guide so you make smart buys and get the most from everything you buy and sell.
