At the Farmer’s Market June 17th

The Master Gardeners will be on hand Saturday, June 17th, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Downtown Farmers Market to help you get started with drip irrigation for your gardens. Simple demonstrations and handouts will be available. Drip irrigation can keep your plants healthy and happy and conserve water. Handouts on many subjects are available and we will have seeds for planting. It’s all free and we would love to answer questions on your specific gardening needs. New temporary location: 500 Washington Ave. across from the Courthouse.

Summer in Design Den June 12 – August 11 Mayborn Museum

Join us as we make, tinker, and create around different themes in Design Den! Some activities in Design Den will be provided for all ages, while other activities will require that participants are 8 years old or older. Summer in Design Den programming will be included in the cost of admission to the museum. There will be drop-in activities most weekdays from 10:00-12:00 and 12:30-2:30 (closed on July 4) and on the following weekend dates: June 17 from 1:00-4:00, Saturday July 15 from 1:00-4:00, and August 5 from 1:00-4:00.

Our goal is 2,500 pairs of shoes and you can help by dropping off at Fuzzy Friends Rescue (6321 Airport Road), 1st University Credit Union (24 LaSalle C), Heart of Texas Federal Credit Union (7500 Imperial Drive), MTTS Granite & Marble (305 Granite Drive). Help us reach our goal and donate!
